Old message, new cover.
Revisado: 10-12-23
If reading business self-help wasn’t exhausting enough…
If I had a dime for every “tough times” reputation throughout these pages I would not worry about sales. Same old cliche and advice. What’s worse is the narration. Save some time and money. Here is everything in the book.
1. Tough times happen to everyone.
2. Tough times pass
3. Use tough times to improve yourself
The rest of the book is dedicated to people who had tough times and made it. Blah blah blah.

Another book mostly about being a chef. Blah blah with a few useful ideas that transcend the restaurant industry.

Historia
Close your eyes and get ready to see the world in a new and more positive way. As a child in Toronto, Molly Burke was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa and became completely sightless as a teenager. Now an award-winning YouTube star and global influencer, Molly shares what it’s like to be a purple-haired, pink-obsessed fashion and makeup lover in a seeing world. She speaks with authenticity and candor about how she tackles the preconceived notions we have around blindness; Molly has made it her mission to make us see her - and ourselves- in a wholly empowering way.

I just couldn’t finish. This is one of the worst titles I have ever picked out. Nothing about this book was good.

While Abraham Lincoln is widely lauded for saving a Union and freeing millions of slaves, his valiant fight against the forces of the undead has remained in the shadows for hundreds of years. That is, until Seth Grahame-Smith stumbled upon The Secret Journal of Abraham Lincoln, and became the first living person to lay eyes on it in more than 140 years.

Don't expect history
Revisado: 07-30-12
If you could sum up Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter in three words, what would they be?
What I expected!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Henry. Vampires are cool
What does Scott Holst bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He does a good job transitioning the parts
If you could rename Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, what would you call it?
No change. I like the title
Any additional comments?
I loved the book. I have heard some silly people who were upset that it was not historically accurate enough...duh. He is hunting Vampires you dummy. Enjoy a great story.
