Today I heard the author on an ADHD podcast, then bought and listened to the book. If one can get past the author’s railing at length against ADHD diagnosis writ large, and also past his own personal bravado, one finds a raft of new, useful information. My understanding of the non-neurotypical, which for me = my school-age son and myself, has increased exponentially. In fact, when absorbed in tandem with lived experiences of those with ADHD and other neurological challenges, more pieces of the neurological puzzle definitely fall into place.

Jim Dale’s rendition of the Prisoner has kept our family riveted to this book every evening, giving us something to truly look forward to after a long day of work and school. Back in the day, I read all HP books, then saw all the films, but hearing it read aloud on Audible is casting a magical new light on the series for me and our little boy.
