Historia
This book is considered to be the best account of the Civil War ever written from the Confederate point of view. It is also the one most frequently cited by historians of the Western campaigns. Sam Watkins, a high private in the Army of Tennessee, brings a vividness and detail to his story unmatched in the genre.

Historia
In 1861 a Scotsman living in Louisiana took up the Confederate Flag. William Watson presents a narrative of his observations and experience in the Southern States, both before and during the American Civil War. Prior to the War, Watson lived in the hot, fertile state of Louisiana. With Lincoln in office, and the secession of the southern states, North and South was plunged in a violent Civil War. Watson recounts the widespread lack of political interest until the country reached this point.

great read and fascinating perspective
Revisado: 04-01-22
This is a very unique perspective written by a British citizen who was anti slavery, yet fought for the south. It is well written and witty as can be. He gives great sketches of the different generals and battles and every day life. He also gives very candid reason why people fought and different mind sets at the time both northern and southern. I enjoyed it very much .

Prosperity. It's one of the most dividing words in the church. Some pastors use it to tell their congregations that God will make them all rich, rich, rich! Others spurn the word and insist that true Christlikeness is found in forsaking all worldly riches and possessions. The truth is, both are right - and both are wrong. With refreshing honesty, humor, and keen insight, best-selling author and pastor Kris Vallotton mines the Scriptures in an eye-opening study of what the Bible really says about money, poverty, riches, and wealth.

great book! convicting, encouraging, and practical
Revisado: 04-25-18
I really enjoyed this book. It was really convicting in certain mindsets of how I approach finances. The difference between riches and wealth is a great point. Vision for the future of what it looks like for you to prosper. but it doesn't just give you vision of what it looks like the Prosper. It gives you practical steps on how to walk out the ways of the Lord in finances and in wisdom. I was a missionary who lived off support for six years, and a young adult Pastor for 11 years so i I've come to this book from a place of a poverty mindset if you will, and never really learning about Kingdom finances and what it really looks like to prosper in all things. so this book was good at Shifting the way that I looked at those things. I'm going to listen to it again probably two or three more times.
