Historia
The Coming Insurrection is an eloquent call to arms arising from the recent waves of social contestation in France and Europe. Written by the anonymous Invisible Committee in the vein of Guy Debord — and with comparable elegance — it has been proclaimed a manual for terrorism by the French government (who recently arrested its alleged authors).

What a rant!
Revisado: 07-06-11
I think the people that wrote this have way too much time to sit around and stew about how their lives are. Sounds like they need to get a real job and a life.
So this is the self absorbed, paranoid people that are trying to lead a revolt? You don't even have the guts to put your names on your work.

Historia
Today everyone - whether they know it or not - is in the emotional transportation business. More and more, success is won by creating compelling stories that have the power to move partners, shareholders, customers, and employees to action. Simply put, if you can’t tell it, you can’t sell it. And this book tells you how to do both. Peter Guber, whose executive and entrepreneurial accomplishments have made him a success in multiple industries, has long relied on purposeful story telling to motivate, win over, shape, engage, and sell.

I know this is a book about telling stories...
Revisado: 07-06-11
I realize this is a book about storytelling to make a point, but too much time was spent name dropping. I did find the stories interesting, but I would have preferred more time spent on the nuts and bolts

After hearing, who else could be Screwtape?
Revisado: 01-04-06
I have always strived to view events from the other person's perspective. What a twist on that principle?! Given the author was English, I really can hear Screwtape in only John Cleese's voice. I suppose John Lithgow would be the logical American version.
Cleese brings the "discovered manuscripts" to life! In the letter concerning noise, it is as if you are in the hellish room with Screwtape.
Read the book, but also read along with Mr. Cleese's interpretation the second time through.

Excellent listen!
Revisado: 01-04-06
Mr. York is fantastic! I loved listening to his beautiful voice as he really brought the book to life. I am afraid the new movie may be too intense for my 5 and 9 yr old girls, but this is excellent. I plan to read it with them, but for now, we are all three enjoying Mr. York's interpretation. The voice's he uses are great! I plan to search for more narrations by him now.
By all means, read the books to your children or better with them, but the drama in this audiobook makes it a must have along with the books.
