Wonderfully sweet story!!
Revisado: 01-17-17
Would you consider the audio edition of Pie to be better than the print version?
I have not read the print version of Pie, but I loved the audio version so much I plan to pick up the print version to read the story to my kids one day!
What did you like best about this story?
I loved how much Alice learned from her Aunt Polly, without even knowing it.
Have you listened to any of Kate Rudd’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I had not listened to any of Kate Rudd's other performances prior to listening to Pie, but I do plan on looking into what other stories she has under her belt. She did a great job on Pie.
If you could rename Pie, what would you call it?
I think Pie was perfectly named!
Any additional comments?
Just an overall sweet, silly and fun story. Short and sweet, it made me happy when listening!

Gwen's life has been a rollercoaster since she discovered she was the Ruby, the final member of the secret time-traveling Circle of Twelve. In between searching through history for the other time-travelers and asking for a bit of their blood (gross!), she's been trying to figure out what all the mysteries and prophecies surrounding the Circle really mean. At least Gwen has plenty of help. Her best friend Lesley follows every lead diligently on the Internet. James the ghost teaches Gwen how to fit in at an eighteenth century party.

What made the experience of listening to Sapphire Blue the most enjoyable?
I love how good this book was which helped me fly through it!
What other book might you compare Sapphire Blue to and why?
None! That's the best part! It was a good change from the rest of the popular books out now.
Which character – as performed by Marisa Calin – was your favorite?
Gwynnie! She was quirky and silly and not the typical "teenage heroine" in every thee book!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
ABSOLUTLY!
Any additional comments?
When it ended, I had to IMMEDIATLY start Emerald Green!!

Historia
Gwyneth Shepherd's sophisticated, beautiful cousin Charlotte has been prepared her entire life for traveling through time. But unexpectedly, it is Gwyneth who, in the middle of class, takes a sudden spin to a different era! Gwyneth must now unearth the mystery of why her mother would lie about her birth date to ward off suspicion about her ability, brush up on her history, and work with Gideon, the time traveler from a similarly gifted family that passes the gene through its male line, and whose presence becomes, in time, less insufferable and more essential.

Pulled me in!
Revisado: 08-15-15
What did you love best about Ruby Red?
I loved how this story was different! It was a new idea that I haven't read already multiple times! It took a few chapters to get into, but was worth hanging in there!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Mr George, he was sweet and understanding, a nice balance to the crazy men of the group!
What about Marisa Calin’s performance did you like?
Her voice was nice. If I don't like a narrator, I have a hard time hanging in there. She did a great job.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I was laughing quite a bit. The main character is quite silly in her "new" role!
Any additional comments?
The story got better as the books went on!

Historia
In a ruined and toxic landscape, a community exists in a giant silo underground, hundreds of stories deep. There, men and women live in a society full of regulations they believe are meant to protect them. Sheriff Holston, who has unwaveringly upheld the silo’s rules for years, unexpectedly breaks the greatest taboo of all: He asks to go outside.

What did you love best about Wool?
I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to start the next one! I like how the characters are adults and not kids, much more relatable and realistic. Highly recommended.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I really enjoyed Jules' character. She is a strong woman who is respected by people and isn't worried about her wellbeing before the wellbeing of everyone in the silo.

Historia
It's been three months since Amy escaped New Hope. Since she's seen Baby, or Kay, or Rice. And she's been surviving on her own, like she did before she was "rescued" and taken to what she thought was a safe haven. Then, in the midst of foraging for supplies, her former fellow Guardian's voice rings out in her earpiece. And in a desperate tone, Kay utters the four words Amy had hoped she would never hear: Dr. Reynolds has Baby.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.
