Great story

I loved the story and length of the book. Unfortunately I did not care for all the narration of the characters, especially Elizabeth’s. She had a deep throaty voice which to me sounded like a man. I did stop listening for a while b/c of it but after a few days started listening again ,but still did not like her voice at all!

I listen to many P&P variations and I must say this is so fabulous! I cried when Darcy left and loved every minute of it. Please continue to write Joana, you are so gifted. Will always look for your new books. I also love Stevie Zimmerman's readings. She is great too.

Wonderful storytelling

I have read and listened to many books on the continuing story of Elizabeth & Darcy. This is by far my favorite. Starting with the first to the third book it tells us in great detail the love & many hurdles the couple and their family and friends must endure. I love learning about the lifestyle, their homes and dress of the time period. I also so enjoyed listening to Nancy Peterson and will now seek out other books she has narrated for further listening enjoyment. Thank you Linda for capturing the essence of one of the most famous and loved couples ever conceived.

Disappointing

I am truly disappointed in this book. Mr. Darcy was turned into a character I started disliking immediately. He was so sappy! Not a strong storyline and the people I have grown to love I hated in this story. Stop taking our favorite two characters and bringing them into today's world of feelings and softness. Real men are hard to find except in great books. Let's keep it that way!!!!

Enjoyable

I love Jane Austin and all her works. I liked this continuation of Pride and Prejudice, but it is more of a harlequin type story. So much of the P& P is told within the story and it would be a shame if anyone decided to skip reading Austin. The plot is good and characters very well defined. All in all enjoyed.
