I’ve never read Kennedy Ryan before, but I am so glad I found her! What an incredible book. Thank you so much for this book. I hope people take from it and I cannot recommend it enough!

I could not stop listening. I was so glad that there were not a huge fight that kept them apart. They had normal ups and downs. Well apart from him being a professional hockey player, This is ONE of my favorites now!!!

I love this author!

I don’t like a novella. I’d rather wait for the complete novel. It felt rushed and the characters needed more time to become themselves, if that makes sense. Normally I love Sebastian York, but this story needs a younger sounding voice, Rock Engle or Stephen Dexter.

It’s okay to be angry with your partner…

I don’t normally do reviews, but I liked the premise of this book. I thought the performance was just okay. The subject matter was
interesting but not using a code to lock your phone is lame. Also, for me, I really need to have the “bad guy” get theirs in the end and this book doesn’t give me enough of that.

Love the hockey vibe

I liked the male protagonist. I never really liked the alpha trope before this alpha was very likable and I felt like the older brother was not fair. He was very self-absorbed and because I have a brother-in-law that’s very self-absorbed. I didn’t enjoy that. But, if you like hockey with spice, you’ll really like this book, The narrators were great two of my favorites

Hot and Swoon

I have listened to this book at least 8 times in the last 2 years. I love Louise Bay and most of her books. They are all good but every now and then one really stands out to me. This is one of them. Listening to these 2 navigate their one night stand and then how they just cannot stop seeing each other. There is someone for everyone and you usually find them when you are least expecting it. This has all of that and more. I love Sebastian York he does a great job narrating the female lead, but I think in this case I would have liked Troy Duran, Jacob Morgan or Jason Clarke as the hero, and Saskia never disappoints. If you love one night stand to lovers to more you will love this book. It's actually 3 parts/books wrapped up in one. So you really get your credit's worth!

My problem is the female narratives

The story is great. Troy Duran is my favorite male narrator. He can Read ANYTHING and it would sound sexy as hell. Maxine Mitchell needs to just stop trying to be Erin Mallon.

This did not sound like Troy Durant at all!

Spoiler alert!!!!!!

Story was intense. Especially if you are a child of adoption, dealt with anyone with addiction triggers or lost a father to a massive heart attack. I have seen all 3 up close and personal. I cried off and on the last 60 min. Of the book. I also have friend whose father passed away this weekend so I feeling very sensitive. Overall a good duet but if you’re expecting alpha Troy Durant, you’ll be disappointed.

Amazingly hot

How can someone write about the awful things that this MC has done and still make them likable and make the reader sympathize them from page one? Cassandra has the recipe! These characters are amazing and you root for all of them. If you don’t like the Alpha male archetype don’t bother, but if you do? I hope have time you can carve out bc you are not going to stop listening. Several days I sat out in our driveway so I could keep listening until my husband would come outside wondering what was taking so long to walk in the house. I would shoo him away for at least the rest of the chapter and okay maybe one more! I’m jealous of new readers getting to meet all the Disciples MC.

Loved the story, especially bc I, like Daisy had a sperm donor until my mom met and married the love of her life and he adopted me. My only critique is the male narrator. I think Troy Durham would have been amazing!!
