Don't multitask - just concentrate on a great stor
Revisado: 09-28-19
This story was short, detailed, mysterious and just plain perfect. It was just like a great made for tv movie.
The numerous small details were all part of the story presentation. So just sit back, close your eyes as you
relax and visually see the story. Great writer and great narrator. Bravo

Historia
Hope Harbor Police Chief Lexie Graham has plenty on her plate raising her son alone and dealing with a sudden rash of petty theft and vandalism in her coastal Oregon hometown. As a result, she has zero time for extracurricular activities - including romance. Ex-con Adam Stone isn't looking for love either - but how ironic is it that the first woman to catch his eye is a police chief? Yet wishing for things that can never be is foolish.

Revisado: 09-26-19
Irene Hannon - Wow such a great story with details that are really visible. I hunt for Therese Plummer, her reading voice is so relaxing and absorbing. Such a treat when writer and reader have such special talents and share them with the world.
The world needs more kind humans and special little towns of quality.

But an unusual request from her mother – coming just as her own life is spinning out of control – has Cara heading back to the scenic Lowcountry of her childhood summers. Before long, the rhythms of the island open her heart in wonderful ways as she repairs the family beach house, becomes a bona fide “turtle lady” and renews old acquaintances long thought lost.

Very Special Unforgettable Story
Revisado: 09-25-19
Mary Alice Monroe Telling and Writing, oh so special. I enjoy when I writer is the reader because there is no denial in the sharing of the story. The detailed description of the Low Country and the people was heartwarming. The story is of past and present, of caring and denial of family, of friendships and sharing.
I learned so much about the dear little turtles. Life goes on... sometimes wise humans need to step in with guidance.
This book could be a reread very soon- it was excellent.

Historia
A crumbling lighthouse is not part of the inheritance Army doctor Ben Garrison expects to claim when he journeys to Hope Harbor. Fresh out of the service, he wants only to unload the tower of bricks, decompress from years of treating battlefield trauma, and prepare to launch his civilian career. Hope Harbor Herald editor Marci Weber has other ideas. She may not be a Hope Harbor native, but the small Oregon seaside town has become home - and she's determined to save the Pelican Point landmark.

Historia
Lottie just knows that her boyfriend is going to propose during lunch at one of London’s fanciest restaurants. But when his big question involves a trip abroad, not a trip down the aisle, she’s completely crushed. So when Ben, an old flame, calls her out of the blue and reminds Lottie of their pact to get married if they were both still single at 30, she jumps at the chance. No formal dates - just a quick march to the altar and a honeymoon on Ikonos, the sun-drenched Greek island where they first met years ago. Their family and friends are horrified. Fliss, Lottie’s older sister, knows that Lottie can be impulsive - but surely this is her worst decision yet.

change the title to "Curses, Screaming and ...
Revisado: 06-11-13
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
If your life is full of cursing and screaming, well this is for you.
I loved the previous book "I've got your number" - it should be made into a movie.
This was a brutal listen and very difficult to control the screaming in the earbuds.
What do you think your next listen will be?
I'll be more cautious before I purchase the next.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
yes, too many narrators, too much volume variety.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Wedding Night?
Cursing and screaming

And of course, to young Dr. Barry Laverty. After Barry's first month as an assistant to crusty Dr. O'Reilly, he has been offered a permanent spot. At least until he meets Dr. Fingal Flahertie O'Reilly.
