Love this story so far. Want more world building in the next book. Lamenting that I have to wait so long for the next audiobook.

Narrator does a great job, just as in Path of ascension.

Super cringe and anime

Simple story, one dimensional main character that must repeat over 9000 times that she pushes herself. The narrator was doing a great job but the story is kinda flat.

I remember reading this on royal road and thought it would be great to get a refresher by listening to it. I did not remember how cringey anime it was. No real plot twists you can’t see a mile away.

Was cheap enough to give it a go. The system is great though so that is in its favour.

Might take up the next book if I find myself in a book draught.

General-ly a great continuation.

Slice of life, adventure and intrigue. This book has it all. Some might say that the quiet parts are bad but I say nay. It is the garnish to the hot blooded combat, victories and woes. Only wish the next one was out.

Quite good trial arc

While MAL + Sussane do their thing and that is always fun to follow, the side story of Han Dej (or how his name is spelled) is what I am most anticipated for. Hope he can survive.

Overall good, but power creep is insane.

Interesting story and characters. But did not enjoy the immensely fast power creep and the slavery magic that was glossed over. Hope for more world building in the future.

Overall, good book with good world building. Ending kinda sucked ass, cried a bit. Eagerly awaiting book 4. Hopefully it has more progression and more alien focused.

Great book, happy we get the whole arc in one go. The ending seems a little different than the Royal Road chapters, but I could be wrong. If you got the previous books, get this one.

Darkest in the series

We all know the question; would you love a monster girl and so far we have had some really positive examples. This book lets us see behind the highlights and experience the really dark realities.

Rebecca and Daniel did Rose and Cy great justice in the book. Can’t wait for book 6!

Confusing but good

I find this book very interesting and somewhat confusing. But I love how Edmund is so against harem and set his sight on what he wants. I like how we can follow his psychological trauma in what he does. None confrontational to the extreme and fanatical in building his “nest egg”.

I also love Steve in this book. He has been someone I’ve been rooting for since remnent series. Thought at first that this would have been a one off book, but seems this is a regular trilogy. Which is good, I greatly enjoyed it. Too many books play out in such a short timeframe, this one does not. I am assuming he will get his harem of Ellie, Dot, vampire and streamer girl (can’t remember how to spell their names). I like that it takes much more time instead of the usual fast and furious. Also he does not seem like a doormat for the FMCs which rhyker, Renee and others are. That is what grinds my gears the most in this multiverse. I wonder how the multiverse will continue.
