Great primer on crypto regardless of age.

While there are a lot of references that people that have been around the block once or twice will definitely appreciate, this audiobook breaks down the concepts of blockchain, cryptocurrency, digital wallets, etc., with excellent analogies that anyone can understand. It's an entertaining look at crypto while being extremely informative about the major concepts that undergird this technology. Highly recommend!

So many of us spend so much time enmeshed in other people's problems, trying to solve or change them, that we don't really know where we end and they begin. Not reacting to people or situations that provoke us is not an easy skill to develop. It takes practice and conviction that not reacting, not increasing the drama, doesn't mean we don't care. On the contrary, we are freed to show genuine love and care only when we can detach from the knee-jerk need to fix, solve, rescue, or control.

Great application of Detaching with Love

What did you love best about Let Go Now: Embracing Detachment?
I love how this book really looks deeply at detachment in a way that can be easily applied. I've already seen remarkable results by applying the principles in this book. This is an area where I believe most people need to improve by daily practice. This book gives daily bites of practicality. I haven't listened to each day separately, but instead have listened to several days at once. However, I believe either way would be of help to someone struggling with this issue. In my opinion, the drama factor of everyone's daily lives would be drastically reduced by applying these principles. The author speaks from a place of personal experience. This gives hope that life can be less dramaful by implementing a strategy that we CAN control.
What other book might you compare Let Go Now: Embracing Detachment to and why?
This book is focusing on one very important aspect of the Al-Anon program, which is also one that important for anyone struggling with codependency. It talks in depth about a key principle in "How Al-Anon Works" and how it can realistically be applied. I am very grateful for this book.
What about Kristin Allison’s performance did you like?
I like that her voice isn't grating on the listener. She sounds sincere and practical.
