Not up to Jessie Clever’s work seems like someone else wrote the book . Very tedious and I felt like I was slogging through mud to read it , I didn’t finish the book . The narrator wasn’t very good either .

Just ok

I’ve read all the previous godmother novels, with the exception of the gay version. I really enjoyed those. I didn’t particularly care for Violet , quite a selfish girl. This one was a bit drawn out and by the end I really didn’t care . As usual Rosalyn Landor was excellent ! All in all if given the chance I’d skip this one

Absolutely Fabulous

I absolutely loved this story. I couldn’t put it down . Second in the series and I can’t wait for the third. Janna MacGregor and Rosalyn Landor are a combination that can’t be beat ! This is the best book I’ve read since I’ve finished A Duke in Time !!! Highly recommended!!

A few good moments

Definitely not up to Sabrina Jeffries caliber,I’ve read much more enjoyable stories. The narrator isn’t at all good, her voice barely changes between characters. The idea of a business like theirs during this time period is laughable. Plus Diana and Geoffrey never really clicked for me didn’t seem romantic at all. I do love Sabrina Jeffries and have read many of her books but I’m afraid this just wasn’t up to her standards, sorry .

Loved it !!

A very enjoyable story ! Great characters , not fond of each other at the start . Building romance was pure joy . Anxious to read the next in the series ! My only issue is the narration, both readers were fine. Although if you’re going to have a male and female narrator they should just read the male or female parts not combine the two .

Story was very good with a group of very interesting characters. I enjoyed the series but the books were rather short and each used a credit on Audible. I think the whole series should have been one credit , a bit short for a full credit .

Not so great , and lose the rotten language

I’ve been a fan of Sarah’s books in the past . That said this was underwhelming. To much women’s lib and not enough romance . The use of a popular curse word was very crude and not necessary . It was very insulting to readers and makes the author sound quite like she doesn’t care about her readers sense abilities. I for one don’t speak like and avoid people who do . Loved the narrator.

The combination of Lisa Kleypas and Ms Landor is unbeatable ! Logan and Maddie were quite the love story and I couldn’t put it down !

Repetitive

I usually enjoy Sarah MacLean’s writing and this was ok but a bit repetitive. The hero is unworthy again and again and again ! The first in the series was better, and I will give the third a try but stayed tuned!
