Historia
In the distant past, a time of magic and swordplay, there lived Harold, the mightiest lich of all, a master of arcane sciences, and a challenger of gods. After reaching the pinnacle of his power and finding it surprisingly bland, Harold waged a cataclysmic war against the gods, aiming to shatter the very system that confined him.

A deadly good time
Revisado: 11-01-24
First, the likes which is for the most part awesome. Daddy Bones accidentally was awakened and the fun begins from there. Full of puns (so if you’re like my hubby and hate them, this isn’t for you), OP protagonist that has his own code (yeah all do I know) that’s completely different from most books in this genre, and light hearted perspective. This isn’t a grumpy main character, all doom and gloom, this is a guy who knows he can do what he wants but doesn’t abuse it, at least in his views. There’s a method to the madness. As for the few unpleasant things. I personally didn’t like the laughter peppered in the story. Not that he was laughing, but the way the laugh was done. It just… hurt my ears? Best way I can describe it. The music too, I know this is a production and soundbooth theater, but turn down the music! It sometimes overlaps the speaking and it’s too much.
Overall, I say it was a great listen, minor problems aside, fun story, light hearted listen. But maybe I’m just odd finding this to be light hearted?

Somewhere in the toxic Bone Pits, where mechanical nightmares roam, an emaciated and wounded young wolf clings to life. Wracked with pain, driven by instinct, it crawls across the subterranean landscape, avoiding the unnatural horrors that dwell there and seeking sustenance while fending off rats, insects, and other vermin stalking it as prey.

Not what you think!
Revisado: 10-04-24
I’m not great reviewing but here we go!
I’ve not been into the litRPG genre for long, but I’ve DEVOURED a lot. I was looking for something a little ‘different’ in same/similar genre. Stumbled on this (via Reddit) and I can say, worth every single penny and every second I listened to. This is ‘labeled’ as a bad guy story (close enough), but I don’t see it that way. The MC is a wolf for goodness sake in a deviated world and doing what they need to. ‘But people!’ To a wolf, everything is meat and can be eaten. Don’t go into this with HUMAN morals. Think like a wolf.
Great audio, no mic clicking or annoying sounds, just a very lovely deeper voice reading. Very very nice. I’m going to have to check out the narrators other works.

Wanted: One night together, no strings attached. Hold me, make love to me, treat me like I’m the most important person in the world. No talking. No names. And don’t be surprised if I’m gone in the morning. After crushing on my best friend for years, I realize he’ll never want someone inexperienced like me. So I decide to get it over with, play the V-card once and for all with an anonymous hook-up. The terms are simple: No talking, no names. It isn’t as easy as it seems. Now I can’t get the handsome stranger who greeted me with soft kisses and gentle touches out of my mind.

Sweet boy finds loving Daddy
Revisado: 02-20-20
I love Daddy/boy stories. I really love sweet boy and loving Daddy, it’s fun to have a brat from time to time, but low angst and lots of love just has a happy little place in my heart.
What’s a guy to do when his ‘friends’ sends him into something he knows nothing about? He gets lucky and finds a kind Daddy that helps heal his heart. This isn’t an overly complicated story and that is just wonderful. Looking for an easy light hearted Daddy/boy story? This is an excellent pick.
I have a soft spot for Kenneth Obi. He goes above and beyond to get the feel of the story just right. I love his extra add ins (yawning is a great example!) that make the listening have just that little bit extra touch and makes you fall in love with the story. You really can’t go wrong listening to any of his performances.

Everybody loves Pixie. Everybody wants Pixie. But Pixie needs a Daddy, and his heart is set on me. I’m determined to resist him, for more reasons than I can count. He’s too young for me. He’s my employee. And he’s everything I’ve been avoiding for half my life. He’s vibrant. He’s sweet. He’s absolutely perfect, no matter how much I don’t want him to be.

Adorable!
Revisado: 02-14-20
I was super excited when Pixie came to audio. He was super cute and I was looking forward to his and Bear’s story. They were amazing together, once they got there. Overall, this was a wonderful ending to an amazing series.
Story: Like the other Ballsy Boys, this was a fun adventure! We have a sweet boy who just wants a Daddy and a Daddy that just wasn’t sure about having a boy. There was instant sparks between the two. This was also (in my opinion) one of the saddest of the Ballsy Boys and it had nothing to do with the boy. Bear grew up in a different time and it shows. While his wasn’t the saddest I’ve ever read, it definitely hit home and made you want to cry. And about 3/4 of the way through, you might want to grab a tissue. I’m not one for crying about a book, but this did ring a few tears from me.
Performance: Kenneth is amazing. There are a handful of performers I listen to and he is one of the best. I adored his take on Bear, the rough gravely voice was perfect. Pixie was sweet and light hearted and Kenneth brought that across in wonderful colors. I really can’t gush enough about how amazing Kenneth is and I love everything he’s done. He gets better and better.

What will happen when my secrets are exposed? I’m lying to my mom about how I make my living. I’m lying to the Ballsy Boys about my life. I’m lying to myself about who I am. I pretend to be Campy, but I am Cameron. But does anyone even know the real me? When I meet my new roommate, a sexy Texan cowboy and break-out TV star named Jackson, all my lies start to come out. He makes me want to be myself, but I’ve spun so many lies that I don’t even know who I am anymore.

All the feels!
Revisado: 02-12-20
Every one of these gets better and better! Best listened (or read) in order, this is the 4th book in the series.
I love a good GFY/BFY/OFY/BA and this hit every single spot. Things are not as they quite appear for Campy but he likes to take the long way in discovering his own feelings. When he finds out, it gave me the giggles with others reactions! So far, this is my absolute favorite Ballsy Boys.
Now for the narration. Mmmmmhmmmm, I do love Kenneth’s voice but his Texas accent is amazing. I had hearts in my eyes every time it was Jackson’s chapter. He nailed this performance and he should be proud! This was an A+ in my book. Now I’m off to go listen to the last one, Pixie and I can’t wait.

Magic comes knocking
Revisado: 01-31-20
Let’s start by saying I was given this for an honest review but I would have happily paid for this.
Overall this was amazing! Michele has a wicked good imagination and puts that into her writing. You are quickly taken away into a magical world and you never want to leave. What could be better? Well, Kenneth’s performance takes Michele’s story and expands it. While reading it was amazing, listening just adds that much more magic to it. The voices Kenneth manages, WOW. Creepy but it takes the story and makes it real. Get all 3, you will love these and (not so) patiently wait for the 4th.

HOT HOT HOT!!!
Revisado: 01-24-20
I’ve listened to each one of the Ballsy Boys and they get better and better. I wasn’t sure when I started with Rebel what I was in for, but ohhhhh yummy. I love how the authors make the porn work just that, work. It doesn’t take away from the relationships and emotions these guys have.
This story of Heart and his guys was sweet, in an unlikely way. The three of them just work and they accept each other faults and all.
Now for the performance, Kenneth nailed this one, plan and simple. He gave each guy his own voice and pulled their emotions out loud and clear. I love his voice and he does an amazing job telling this story. Listen to the first two before this one, while it could be considered a stand alone, it is so much more enjoyed in its place with the information from the prior stories.

JACK - My life ended when I was 16. Not literally - I’m no ghost, I just feel like one. It's a byproduct of losing your pack to a plague that skips you by like you’re not worth the effort. Chose all the good ones and you’re what was left behind. Survivor’s guilt, people call it. I just call it like I see it. I do a decent job of going through the motions. I’ve got a good reputation as an alpha, and everyone loves to joke about the only vegan alpha in North America. Some days even I’m convinced that this is it. As good as it gets. Then Dylan Kapernit walks into my shop.

Puppy love
Revisado: 01-16-20
Ok, this might be a long review with spoilers. I’ll separate this into a few parts trying to give review in general then the spoilers as to why I reviewed it that way. Here we go.
Story overview: This was a decent story. Worth a read or listen in this case.
*SPOILERS* I think the big reason I didn’t love this is because the angst wasn’t resonating with me. The Omega lost both his husband and a child. He seemed more upset about his lost husband then his child? Seemed like maybe the child may have been added later? He almost seemed a second ‘hey, let’s add more loss’ for story progression. I had a hard time with it after this was revealed.
Performance: This was on point. The reading was good and enjoyable. I would listen to this performer again.
Overall: I would read or listen to both the author and performer again. If you enjoy shifter mpreg this is a decent story. I haven’t read the book but the audio could use a warning/disclaimer about the *see spoilers*
