I enjoyed the book. Lots to pay attention to and figure out. The quick pace allows details to escape the reader as the mystery unfolds.

Kept me captivated
Revisado: 05-17-18
Excellent depiction of the real-life tragedy in Tennessee history. Each character was very authentic for me. Wingate moves you from past to present and back seemlessly. Great narration too. I enjoyed the different paces, accents and fervors conveyed depending upon which character was speaking or thinking.

Historia
You've eaten too much candy at Christmas...but have you ever eaten the face off a six-foot stuffed Santa? You've seen gingerbread houses...but have you ever made your own gingerbread tenement? You've woken up with a hangover...but have you ever woken up next to Kris Kringle himself? Augusten Burroughs has, and in this caustically funny, nostalgic, poignant, and moving collection he recounts Christmases past and present - as only he could.
