Historia
Martin Grey, a smart, talented black lawyer working out of a storefront in Queens, becomes friendly with a group of some of the most powerful, wealthy, and esteemed black men in America. He's dazzled by what they've accomplished, and they seem to think he has the potential to be as successful as they are. They invite him for a weekend away from it all - no wives, no cell phones, no talk of business. But far from home and cut off from everyone he loves, he discovers a disturbing secret that challenges some of his deepest convictions.

Astonishing!
Revisado: 02-03-21
I was overwhelmed by the subject but intrigued as well. There was a point in the story where I was horrified by the reversal of roles and the justification of dominance to the white race. I was proud of the protagonist. Well written and keeps you interested.

I read this book. I decided I wanted to hear the characters come alive thru oral dialog. It was amazing.

Marvelous Storyline!
Revisado: 01-09-18
The story was unexpected but well worth the read. The developments were intriguing and well defined. I was clearly on board with Thomas and cheered when he raced head on into the consequences.
