Football Romance Meets Geek Chic

This story is narrated by Emma Wilder, written by Rosalind James. Devil in Disguise is the 4th installment of the Portland Devils series, and I honestly had a little bit of a hard time getting into it, mainly because the lead character, Dyma is so young in the story, and it has been a reaaally long time since I was that young -so for me to relate to the character it took a while. And it took a long while to get the story moving along at a faster pace..However...it does get better. This is a beautifully written story, with scenic backdrops from a small ranch on the plains of North Dakota to metropolitan Portland, and the college town of Seattle. This sweet love story will capture your imagination and the characters will capture your heart. We met them in a previous book in the series, Shame the Devil, as the main female character Jennifer is Dyma's mother in that book. This story is for Dyma and Owen.

Owen, a Portland Devils NFL center, and also owns a ranch in rural Wyoming - divorced and has been (platonically) dating his best friend's girlfriend's 19 year old daughter, Dyma. Dyma is worlds apart different from a farm-girl rancher type. She's loud, opinionated, a feminist vegetarian, science and math geek that looks more like a punk rock star, rather than a rocket scientist in training. She's edgy, she's confident, and yet vulnerable and ready to rumble. Owen is a gentle giant, a romantic young gentleman who has high standards, honor code and traditional values/work ethics. He really sounds too good to be true. He's almost too perfect, really.

They met under unusual circumstances out at Yosemite National Park, where the previous book kicked off. Dyma was too young (in high school) at the time and Owen was a gentleman (also not interested in going to jail or losing his NFL career). We pick up the story though, where Dyma is bit older and finished with high school and is still very much attracted to Owen, who is 6 years older than her. Neither one had any long term plans for a relationship, but somehow that is what might be forged out of a very deep case of like for one another. Owen is star struck by her dynamo energy and sparkly personality and is holding himself in check because she's just turning 19 now and just barely finished with high school. These two can't wait to become more than just friends, but in order to work, their relationship still must develop slowly, and they go through some adjustments along the way. There are some embarrassing and hilarious 'firsts' in here, but I won't spoil it for you. Be prepared to laugh, sit back, and remember what it was like to be young and in love.

I loved these characters, their maturity, their sense of humor and their energy between each other as they grew closer and realized they were falling in love. I love how Rosalind showed how they grew close to each other over time, and developed the relationship, as nothing long-lasting ever really happens overnight. Though technically a standalone, this book is best read after another one in the series, "Shame the Devil" as it will make more sense with the references to other characters previously mentioned.

For the narration, Emma Wilder does a great job with different voices for all the different characters. At times, there are sometimes awkward pauses of speech in odd places, but this could be fixed with a little editing. This is not extreme in any way and doesn't take anything away from the story telling.

Enjoyed this book very much and can't wait for the next book from Ms. James!

Another winner for the very talented Rosalind James!

Shame the Devil is the 3rd installment of the Portland Devils series, and I am so excited to review this book! A beautifully written story, with scenic backdrops from Portland, OR to a small town in Idaho, a beautiful spa resort in New Mexico, to the plains of North Dakota. This beautiful love story will capture your imagination and the characters will capture your heart.

This story is narrated by Emma Wilder, written by Rosalind James.. This story features a man named Harlan, a Portland Devils wide receiver, who looks like a Viking or a Norse god. His blond hair waves to his shoulders, and he is built like an Olympic champion body builder who is lightning fast. Harlan also owns a movie theater in a small town called White Horse and is known for being a playboy who is anything but serious. Harlan has a seriously sad childhood upbringing and no desire to dig into that part of his life. He's about to have his life shaken up a bit - in more ways than one.

Fiercely independent Jennifer is a single mom with her fledgling daughter about to leave the nest for college. She's about to experience freedom for the first time as a single adult - as she had her daughter when she was very young, in her teens, and has known hardship, loss and challenges her whole life while making something of herself, providing for her daughter, and building a future. What she has never known is success in relationships - the romantic kind, anyway.

Jennifer and Harlan meet in unusual circumstances in the Yellowstone National Park on a vacation, and it seems like fate has put one another in their paths. They are immediately attracted to each other and decide to have a short fling that is only supposed to be a night of amazing adventure and then go their separate ways. Fate had other plans and these two wind up becoming very much wrapped up in each other's worlds. Neither one had any long term plans for a relationship, but somehow that is what might be forged out of a very deep case of like for one another. Jennifer challenges Harlan in ways he never dreamt of -and Harlan surprises Jennifer with his very serious and romantic side. Both have a lot of things to overcome, and a lot of things to learn, but we get to watch their kindling fire relationship unfold into a full-fledged inferno -and you hope to just not get burned sitting there on the edge hoping they make a go of it.

I loved these characters, their maturity, their sense of humor and their energy between each other as they grew closer and realized they were falling in love, and could not just walk away from a fun one-time weekend. The two learn so many things through each other and learn to trust and open up with each other. They each get the rare gift of healing from their past hurts and developing something brand new and beautiful. I love how Rosalind showed how they grew close to each other over time, and developed the relationship, as nothing long-lasting ever really happens overnight.

For the narration, Emma Wilder does a great job with different voices for all the different characters. At times, it is difficult to tell the different female parts apart, but that cannot be helped. There are sometimes awkward pauses of speech in odd places, but this could be fixed with a little editing. This is not extreme in any way and doesn't take anything away from the story telling.

I enjoyed this book very much and I am looking forward to hearing more about Dyma and Owen.

This story is narrated by Emma Wilder and Tom Janson, written by Rosalind James and set in New Zealand. This story features a woman on the verge of her life and marriage falling apart and handsome doctor with a Casanova-complex, some really funny secondary characters, relatives, a dog and a duck. Not necessarily in that order.

Poppy and her children, whom we met in the previous novel in the series, Kiwi Rules, is a successful entrepreneur, children's book author and illustrator, when her brother Jax - the hero in Kiwi Rules - and Karen were getting married. And at their wedding Poppy meets a handsome and unattached Maori doctor, Dr. Matiu Te Mana, a relative of Karen's side of the family.

Poppy and Matiu meet each other again in the crisis of the birth of Poppy's third baby, Isobel. She is in a very public place with her two young children and suddenly went into labor and it escalated to crisis point very quickly. My impression of Poppy were that she kept incredibly calm under the circumstances, and put her young children's needs above all else -to ensure they were not afraid and kept them safe. Dr.Te Mana comes on the scene right outside the emergency room of the hospital - on the grass where Poppy is about to give birth.

What Poppy will soon learn, just after the birth of her child, is that her husband of 8 years, and her children's father had been betraying her in the worst way, and her marriage is essentially over. The story begins with Poppy's world crashing into flames, and is all about how this woman rises out of the fire as a phoenix and overcomes her challenges, and explores a new relationship possibility - with the last person she thought she would be attracted to.

This story is so much more than a woman in a rebound situation, finding love with her doctor hero and savior. This story is so emotionally deep, complex, and rich, and becomes more symbolic of Poppy's journey towards her freedom of spirit and courage. Through this blossoming friends-to-lovers romance with Matiu - it ends up enlightening and changing him too - changing HIS views on himself and his expectations for female relationships, along with his sense of character and integrity. Matiu is a much deeper and a stronger character than he gives himself credit for.

The dynamics of the ex-husband-and the extended family members who are lovingly - or not-so-much - trying to interfere with Matiu and Poppy's emerging relationship. Some of these moments are hilarious - and some are heartbreaking as you see Poppy's inner strength develop and flourish, allowing her to stand up for herself and become the confident and bold woman she never thought she had in her. I love this vulnerability that Poppy showed-and how she overcame her internal self-doubts and self-image issues. I can sure relate to all of these issues. Poppy's story brings to light all the doubts of a new post-partum mother, with her body changes and challenges, explores her emotional responses to some very real horrific events. Ms.James really gets it right in all her descriptions of the physical and emotional exhaustion, the realities of post-birth issues, and the truths that all of us women who have been down this road instinctively know.

For the narration, you will love the two different perspectives being portrayed. I found it took a little getting used to at first, as there are times when of each character's opposite 'part' is narrated in the voice of the actor - not the other female or male actor. They portray the young children in the story beautifully! Very believable! All in all, great performances done by both actors. I enjoyed both very much. Note, if voice were the only criteria, Tom scores VERY high on the hot points!! I love his voice! Heartmelting warm Kiwi accent and the main character is sexy-as. Delish…

No cliff-hangers or other parts to buy after this story.. and though I highly recommend going back and reading the beginning of the series of books, "Kiwi Rules" (Jax and Karen's story), and check out the "Not Quite a Billionaire" series (Hemi and Hope's story).

Rosalind James is a wonderful American writer and has spent a considerable amount of time in New Zealand and Australia. She shares her amazing experiences with the New Zealand culture (and imaginative, creative story-telling) with us and we are lucky indeed to enjoy the results of her work. Another great one - and possibly my new favorite (it's at least in the top 3 now). This one will check off all of your boxes for a great romantic story! A job well done!

This story features a number of storylines within the central plot of the book. One part is more of an extended epilogue, and the other parts are continuing stories that are building up to something new. Let me preface by saying that I love, love, LOVE Rosalind James' books, and have read them all (*at least twice or three times each) and this is difficult to say, but was not my favorite book. I'll tell you why. Although all the story lines are interesting, and have such a range of emotions, I found it hard to follow until about the halfway point. There is just so much going on and I started and stopped too many times to count (that's on me - I'm in a pretty turbulent time of my life right now) and I had too many distractions to be able to focus on all the characters, the plots, subplots, and different elements. There are some amazing characters who get their HEA though - and I LOVED the cabin scene with the bachelor/bachelorette party! Hilarious -and emotionally moving -both. ALSO sizzling HOT!! Some of the side stories are fun and give you a glimpse of potential future stories.

No cliff-hangers but this would be a difficult read if you have not read at least books 11-12 before reading this story.. though I highly recommend going back and reading the beginning of the series of books, and some of the other series too.

The narrator does a wonderful job as usual, and I love her variety of accents, her depth of understanding all the characters' personalities and rhythms, even the children's parts she acts out beautifully! Nice job as usual!

Rosalind James is a wonderfully diverse, articulate American writer and has spent a considerable amount of time in New Zealand and Aussie-land. She shares her amazing experiences with the New Zealand culture (and imaginative, creative story-telling) with us and we are lucky indeed to enjoy the results of her work. Nicely done!

Wounded warrior meets brave survivor story

Kiwi Rules: Emotional, wounded warrior/brave survivor story-keep your tissues handy!

This story is narrated by Emma Wilder and John Hartley and set in New Zealand. It features a wounded warrior with a prosthetic leg and a brave young woman who survived a near-death illness as a young woman. The story has lots of twists and turns, each has their own internal conflicts with their self-worth, and there is a lot of personal growth and healing here. A beautiful love story emerges from the flames of past wounds, hurts and betrayals.

You will love this hero - and he is just that - a wounded warrior hero who served his country honorably and suffered a devastating injury on the job. This story picks up about 6-8 months afterward, and he is learning to adjust his life and his body - to a prosthetic leg, and more so, emotional acceptance of his new reality. A more tender, honorable, decent man is hard to find and Karen is one LUCKY lady to capture his heart!

Karen, all grown-up and a successful bio-engineer /businesswoman is from an earlier series (the "Not Quite a Billionaire" series, based on Hemi and Hope's story) and Karen is Hope's younger sister, who has overcome her physical challenges to go and lead a successful career in food-science. She receives devastating news that all she had worked for in the last 8-10 years had been ended with a signature on a check and she simultaneously lost her boyfriend/fiancé, to boot.

For the narration, you will love the two different perspectives being portrayed. I found it took a little getting used to at first, as there are times when of each character's opposite 'part' is narrated in the voice of the actor - not the other female or male actor. It can be confusing at first. It would have been nice if each of the female and male parts could have been done 100% by the female actor or the male actor, not both done by both. For example, at times John made Karen sound like a whiny airhead when he was speaking Karen's thoughts- when that is not her character at all. Recording in the same room was probably not possible, but it can be distracting and disjointed when they are done separately.. But all in all, great performances done by both actors. I enjoyed both very much.

Rosalind James is a wonderful American writer and has spent a considerable amount of time in New Zealand and Aussie-land. She shares her amazing experiences with the New Zealand culture (and imaginative, creative story-telling) with us and we are lucky indeed to enjoy the results of her work. No cliff-hangers or other parts to buy after this story.. and though I highly recommend the series of books that started with Karen's sister Hope, "Not Quite a Billionaire" series, and her "Escape to New Zealand" series. This book may all be read out of order, or just this one, to enjoy it.

I loved the story, and the narration was solid well! Anther great hit for Rosalind James! This is a beautiful friends to lovers story you will love (and keep your tissues handy!) This story is set in New Zealand and features a rugby team coach (Rhys), and his former sister-in-law (Zora), who is a widow (Rhys's brother Dylan). There are family related issues, a forbidden attraction between the two main characters, that neither would want to admit, and Maori culture interwoven into the story as the two overcome some major hurdles together and admit their growing feelings for each other surpass their ability to stifle them. Oh, and a secret love child that Rhys claims as his own, that was never really his. The story has lots of twists and turns, conflicts and personal growth, and a beautiful love emerges from the flames of past hurts and betrayals. Familial loyalties that stem from a lifetime of being the big brother and taking care of your family - no matter what, even beyond the grave, and at great personal expense too.. You will love this hero. A more tender, honorable, decent man is hard to find. And Zora is one LUCKY lady to capture his heart! Rosalind James is a wonderful American writer and has spent a considerable amount of time in New Zealand and Aussie-land. Overview
This is the third of the Sinful, Montana series by Rosalind James, but the majority of this story is based in a small town in Australia, Byron Bay where the main character Brett Hunter, an American from Sinful, Montana, is closing a land development deal. It can be read as a stand-alone book, but probably you will want to follow up by reading the first two as several of the previous books' characters make an appearance in the third. Ms. James has written several books from the Northern Idaho area, California, and a great many from New Zealand too in her Escape series. All are wonderful escapes from reality!

The Main characters
Willow Sanderson is a chef, caterer, artist/photographer and lives in Byron Bay, Australia. She is a feisty and fiercely independent young woman who was surfing when a shark approached and Brett happened to be on the beach and warned her, saving a few people's lives that day. Willow is fun, a glass-half-full type, with a take-charge personality, and has a huge heart, but pulling some serious baggage from men in her life who have treated her poorly.

Brett Hunter, an American land developer from Sinful, Montana, was a secondary character in previous books in this series, but I am very happy Ms. James decided to give him his own story. This time we get to see just what a sweet, strong sexy hunk of a guy he really is underneath that tough business guy exterior. He really is a wonderful character and deserves his own HEA. He too, has his own baggage and past relationship issues, and dealing with grief and personal loss as well. His back story is super touching and you will need your tissues handy when you learn about him.

Willow was having a really bad day when she runs into Brett at a catering event his company hired her for. The two team up to resolve her catering job issues and save the event from being a disaster. While getting to know each other professionally, sparks fly and they hit it off without jumping into bed (I hate that when romance books have the couple just jump right into bed! This is not one of those, thank goodness!) Both of them need the strengths that the other provides and you will find them growing and healing together as they bond. It's a really lovely story and realistic enough, but in such a wonderful setting. You can't help but wish you were there. Just Google "Byron Bay, Australia" and you will know what I mean.

I loved the audio version of this book -and have really enjoyed the narrator in many other Rosalind James' books too. She's very talented as an actor/narrator and portrays all of the characters so well you can hardly tell they are the same person reading them.

I loved the book - it's got some suspense, some excitement, and lots of action. And of course some steamy romance too. This is a great, funny, heart-warming read that will take you away from your world for just a short bit and fill your heart with wonderful characters and a memorable storyline. The book will stir your emotions and remind you of the importance of family. Make sure your tissues are handy! These were wonderful characters to read.

We also get to revisit some old favorite characters from previous books, but this one can also be enjoyed as a stand-alone. Another great book by talented Rosalind James!

Overview
This is the second of a new series by Rosalind James, based in a small town in Montana. It can be read as a stand-alone book, but probably enjoyed best when followed by the first of the series, Guilty As Sin, as it begins where the previous one leaves off with a new couple - the siblings. Ms. James has written several books from the Northern Idaho area, California, and a great many from New Zealand too in her Escape series.

The Main characters
Lily Hollander is an identical twin who is a frilly, sweet and feminine small town - country-girl raising goats and chickens on a small ranch-farm and owns a lingerie store in the town of Sinful, Montana. The story opens with her visit to her sister in San Francisco, CA

Rafe Blackstone is a successful actor - and totally NOT Lily's type. When they first meet one another - neither knows their true identities, they actually know each other through their sibings, Paige and Jace (Hollander and Blackstone, respectively). They met in a bar, and used assumed names for their own reasons, then things really heat up as they realize they really like each other. Sparks fly when they "meet" again at Paige and Jace's houseboat, and they do not tell anyone else they previously met. As they get to know one another and slowly chip away at one others' mis-trust issues, they cannot fight the attraction that is building and the tension is too delicious! The sparks fly between these two as they develop an interesting and reluctant relationship.

I loved the book - it's got some suspense, some excitement and action. And of course some steamy romance too, as things really heat up between Lily and the hot actor-neighbor, Rafe. There are some very hilarious moments that will had me laughing my butt off. This is a great, funny, heart-warming read that will take you away from your world for just a short bit and fill your heart with wonderful characters and a memorable storyline. The book will stir your emotions and remind you of many great themes: the importance of family, loyalty, trust and security, and the issues surrounding foster children and elderly poor people.

There is a really sweet secondary plot line that really touched me, about a former foster child whom Lily met in her small town and sort of adopted, along with her dog. Make sure your tissues are handy! These are awesome characters to hear narrated by the very wonderful Emma Wilder. She does an amazing job transitioning between characters (including an Aussie movie star) to a little girl, Bailey, flawlessly and seamlessly. Great job Emma! It's always a pleasure to listen to her narrate.

Another great book by the gifted Rosalind James! I can't wait to read the next one in the series!

Where does Just Say (Hell) No rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I'd say it's in my top 10 - it is awesome!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Aside from the main characters, my favorite character is Ella, and also maybe Marko's mother, Olivia - who is so wise, and calm, such a contrast from Ella's own mother Jakinda.
I felt like I almost knew them, and could picture myself having conversations with them. I loved Ella and her would-be love interest, Marko's teammate. Ella's maturity amazed me in all the challenges she faced as a pregnant teenager, and then when things got tough(er) she rose to the occasion and really made the story come alive for me.

Have you listened to any of Emma Wilder’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

yes - this one is also very good. Emma is very talented and able to distinguish all of the different characters very well and with all the different accents and ages too! I thought Ms. Wilder did a fantastic job navigating back and forth between different personalities and emotions, verbal pace and quirks, both male and female. I just loved the secondary characters as well. Her portrayals of the various dialects and personalities were just wonderful! She has a great range of emotions and expressions of personality. Ella's voice - being a teenager, along with her occasional snarkiness and eye-rolling come through loud and clear in audio, as much as if she were standing in front of me. Also loved Marko's grandmother. Very different from the other characters. The performance was excellent! Very well done.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Just say YES to HELL no!

Any additional comments?

The rest of my review: ○ The descriptions of the geography and the New Zealand, in general are meticulous and compelling. All the imagery of such a beautiful country, and the mannerisms and local cultural references of the locals were fascinating. The author includes a helpful Kiwi glossary in the paper/ebook version of the book, of New Zealand local lingo and unique cultural references to help the reader connect to the story and the characters more deeply.

○ The characters were absolutely genuinely heartwarming and lovely to read about, very realistically drawn and compelling the reader to cheer them on.
○ The hero, Marko, is: mature and family-minded, he's a focused on his career - a more SERIOUS player but not a serious PLAYER - he coaches the younger ones and keeps them out of trouble. He's a bit jaded -and grouchy (in a lovable, teddy-bear sort of way), sexy without acting like he knows it, tender when it comes to his family, and emotionally developed. He has a very deep connection with his family and supports them in many ways - especially his pregnant 16 year old cousin Ella. He's well-respected by his teammates and family.
○ The heroine, Nyree: Fiercely independent and quirky woman, who has had a crush on Marko since she was an awkward gawky 14 year old girl. She grew up in a rugby family, with a coach dad and protective, older step-brothers and has seen her share of awkward moments with the opposite sex. She's not shy and vulnerable anymore though - and determined not become some rugby star's plaything. She's an artist, making a living doing rich people's pet portraits, and agrees to be a companion for Ella for the duration of her pregnancy. Trying desperately not to fall in love with Marko - her teenage crush.
• What this book meant to me-how I felt about it
This book is funny, very touching and emotional, very sexy, and has quickly overtaken my #1 favorite book of Ms. James. She has really hit this one out of the park! It is special to me also because I was became a mom as a teenager, myself, and could really relate to all the obstacles Ella faced, and the struggle to grow up while still remaining a girl in a lot of ways. It really hit home for me about her making choices for the good of her child-that she would have to live with her whole life.
A special part of the story for me is that I loved when Marko took Nyree home to meet his family - and what his family meant to him. It was very touching when we learned more about the story of Marko's grandmother. That story is a really special part of their Australian/NZ culture and I would love to see this explored further in future books. I think this is where Marko discovers he is truly in love with her. The emotional depth of these characters moved me immensely. They have some special moments under the stars that are *quite* memorable.
• Another great moment was when the team members visited Ella's school and Nate was very protective of Ella. It's a very sweet young romance that is budding.

• Oh, and by the way, this book is VERY steamy and sexy, a little bit of 'fifty-shades' but classier. Not for the faint-of-heart or those embarrassed easily. I felt a little out of my comfort zone with some of the scenes, but I felt that it is written in context of two consensual adults falling madly, deeply in love and it works for them. Their 'tastes' have a bit of an edge, but it is not written in a trashy way either. There is a good balance of buildup and tension -and the more sensual feelings developed - evolving to love. This book really has it all for me.
• Conclusion: The story concludes with some pretty tear-jerking moments and I'm so happy these two come together in this lovely romance. The struggles they (and Ella) dealt with were very realistic and I hope you will discover and love these characters, and the scenery as much as I did. Now go find a new escape - Escape to New Zealand and meet many wonderful characters with fascinating stories.

Though I paid for my own copy of the ebook and had read that earlier, I received a free copy of this audio book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own

What did you love best about Guilty as Sin?

I loved the book - it's got some suspense, and mystery, and some excitement and action. And of course some steamy romance too, as things really heat up between Paige and the hot alpha-male-neighbor, Jace. There are some very hilarious moments that will had me laughing my butt off.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jace is my favorite character - he is the ultimate alpha male, yet sweet, sensitive and tender in moments as well as rugged, a leader-protector, ultra-masculine, sexy and intelligent too. I guess he is a true fantasy hero because I don't think all these attributes can possibly exist in one person.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene - hard to pick. Possibly the one early on in the story where Paige (as Lily) was trying to figure out milk the goats and failing, and Jace was there, figuring out that she needed help, but Lily was trying to cover up the fact she wasn't really Lily. Hilarious!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES! It really moves along and draws you in. I didn't want to put it down, even though I had already read the story in e-book on Kindle. LOVED IT!

OverviewThis is a new series by Rosalind James, based in a small town in Montana. It can be read as a stand-alone book and this book can be read and enjoyed independently and along with the others just as well. Ms. James has written several books from the Northern Idaho area, California, and a great many from New Zealand too in her Escape series. The Main characters Paige Hollander and her identical twin Lily are the central focal characters, with Paige being the heroine. For being identical twins, the two couldn't be more different in every other way. Paige is a tough, strong, competent police officer in the city of San Francisco, with a heart of gold, and is on a medical leave of absence after being wounded in the line of duty. Lily is a frilly, sweet and feminine small town - country-girl raising goats and chickens on a small ranch-farm and owns a lingerie store in the town of Sinful, Montana. She's been having trouble lately with someone in her town putting the pressure on her to sell her property for the development of a large ski resort. The pressure is becoming more and more like harassment, so Paige agrees to switch places with sweet Lily and be the tough-girl - showing the pushy developer she's not one to be bullied. It is not as easy as it seems to be a sweet, nice small-town girl as Paige had thought. She has some hilarious adventures and dilemmas to overcome, all while helping Lily's hot neighbor get to the bottom of his stalker-problem. It turns out tough-girls can be sweet. Jace Blackstone is a reclusive, ex-special forces thriller writer from Australia, living alone out in the hills of Montana. Solitude is just perfect for him as he wants nothing to do with the hustle and bustle of city-life. He has a major problem with a stalker and it is getting more and more intense. He starts to suspect his neighbor might be involved- she somehow catches his attention and not in a good way. This woman gets under his skin and he realizes she is not his stalker -but may be able to help him - they help each other in fact. As they get to know one another and slowly chip away at each others' mistrust issues, they cannot fight the attraction that is building and the tension is too much to bear. This is a great, funny, action-filled, heart-warming read that will take you away from your world for just a short bit and fill your heart with wonderful characters and a memorable storyline. The book will stir your emotions and remind you of the importance of family. Life is too short - don't miss the opportunity to be there for them.Another great book by Rosalind James! I can't wait to read the next one in the series, with Rafe and Lily!
