Historia
The previous edition of this now-classic book revealed the existence and subversive manipulations of "economic hit men". John Perkins wrote that economic hit men (EHM) "are highly paid professionals who cheat countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars. Their tools include fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, sex, and murder".

Interesting subject matter about American Imperialism and Marxism
Revisado: 04-07-21
While I disagree with the push for American Imperialism by creating serfdom through debt, the author pushes his deep belief in Marxism.

Historia
Since the liberal revolution of the '60s and '70s, American history books have been biased toward the negative. They overemphasize America's racism, sexism, and bigotry while downplaying the greatness of her patriots. As a result, more emphasis is placed on Harriet Tubman than on George Washington, more on the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II than on D-day or Iwo Jima. This book offers a long-overdue acknowledgment of America's true and proud history.

Comprehensive!
Revisado: 05-18-17
This book is a comprehensive and detailed arrangement of our history. It helped me understand so much about the events that we learn (dumbed down version). This book should be a textbook in schools today.

Historia
In one of the most compelling combat narratives ever written, Staff Sergeant David Bellavia, an Army infantry platoon leader in Iraq, gives a teeth-rattling, first-hand account of 11 straight days of heavy house-to-house fighting during the climactic second battle of Fallujah. His actions in the firefight, which included killing five insurgents in hand-to-hand combat, earned Bellavia the Bronze Star, the Silver Star, and New York state's highest military honor, the Conspicuous Service Cross.

Informative for sure
Revisado: 02-24-17
This book is good because it tells a lot about the war in Iraq that most of us knew nothing about. The author is correct that we were only fed one side of that part of the war on terror.
It's a good story with good performance, but some of the inner monologue drags on a bit.
