Historia
Former tennis player Easton Bradbury is trying to be the best teacher she can be, trying to reach her bored students, and trying to forget her past. What brought her to this stage in her life isn't important. She can't let it be. But now one parent-teacher meeting may be her undoing.... Meeting Tyler Marek for the first time makes it easy for Easton to see why his son is having trouble in school. The man knows how to manage businesses and wealth, not a living, breathing teenage boy.

Good Story Line
Revisado: 03-30-25
Enjoyable read since I am a tennis player. Nicely woven story with interesting teaching methods for teens woven in. My only niggle was that voice of Easton did not seem to match her character. Maybe too businesslike?

Historia
When Anna Hartley’s husband, Henry, calls her with a terrible, guilty confession, she can’t believe what she hears. It has to be a bad joke—the mild, predictable artist she married would never hurt a fly, let alone commit murder. But her confusion turns to horror when police find his body washed up on the banks of the Rio Grande.

A real page turner, very suspenseful
Revisado: 03-17-25
Fast moving and very entertaining. One started I had to keep going! Nice unfolding of an interesting plot. My only niggle would be that I thought the characters needed a little more detail in their descriptions. I never had a clear picture of some of them in my mind.

Not my cup of tea
Revisado: 03-10-25
Great character development, insightful real stories, some of the parts moved too slow, I felt the ending was premature and did not bring closure to the characters predicaments.

Historia
The world outside has grown toxic, the view of it limited, talk of it forbidden. The remnants of humanity live underground in a single silo. But there are always those who hope, who dream. These are the dangerous people, the residents who infect others with their optimism. Their punishment is simple. They are given the very thing they want: They are allowed to go outside.

Great SiFi, among my top 5
Revisado: 01-30-25
Unique and interesting premise for a dystopian future. Excellent character development. Well sequenced and easy to follow unlike many annoying books that jump around so much you can’t keep track. I just started the Apple TV Silo series and have been pleasantly surprised that it closely follows the book in most all details. I can’t wait to read the next 2 books in the series and keep watching the tv version!

Historia
James Bond is alive. Or at least, he was when he left a clue at the black site where the insidious private military company Rattenfänger held him captive. MI6 cannot spare any more lives attempting to track down one missing agent—no exceptions, even for Bond. But Johanna Harwood, 003, has her own agenda. Sidelined by her superiors while she grieves the loss of a loved one, Harwood goes on an unsanctioned mission: to find 007. Meanwhile, MI6 has another problem…

Good effort, better than Book 1 in the 00 series
Revisado: 11-14-24
I enjoyed this book a lot more than "Double or Nothing". It did take me 2X through it to grasp all the characters, time/location shifts and plot. I like the idea of creating new 00 characters and this book provided more depth and background on their origins. I also liked that some very traditional faces from the bond universe made cameos like Bond's father-in-law Draco, Felix Leiter, head of French Secret Service and many others. Unlike the first book, this book was not too "woke" for me as a die hard James Bond fan who saw Dr. No in theatres in the 60's and devoured every Ian Fleming Bond novel as soon as my parents would let me read them. My only sticking point remains how Moneypenny can be in charge of the 00's and act as a field operative carrying weapons. This is usually reserved for ex-military trained operatives as opposed to an office admin. If Moneypenny as head of 00's continues I would highly recommend Kim concoct a believable back story on how she was trained and ascended into this role. I did look forward to the 3rd book in the series!

Historia
This is the true story of a poor girl from small-town Nova Scotia, and her transformation into one of the most successful Dominatrix porn stars in the world. Becoming one of the most successful and well-known femdom fetish porn stars takes a certain mix of ingredients - ingredients cultivated in Mistress T at a young age. Lack of inhibition, keen business sense, and a powerful sense of independence resulted in a skilled and driven woman uniquely prepared to do whatever was necessary to succeed in a business most people fail to excel in.

Very Interesting Story
Revisado: 10-16-24
I’m not sure what I expected when I got this audiobook, but there was definitely more to the story than I expected. I’ve been a fan of T since her debut and enjoyed the depth and complexity of her autobiography. I did not expect that she did a stint as an escort and wrongly assumed she was just a porn actress. I did not realize she was her own company and built her own business. Very impressive. I enjoyed hearing her narration even though it was a little choppy at times. All in all very enjoyable.

Earth enjoys unprecedented prosperity due to the infusion of Trisolaran knowledge. With human science advancing daily and the Trisolarans adopting Earth culture, it seems that the two civilizations will soon be able to coexist peacefully as equals, without the terrible threat of mutually assured annihilation. But the peace has also made humanity complacent.

Mind bending concepts of the universe and beyond. Enjoyable throughout the 3 volumes of the trilogy. Each story got better and more grand. Hard not to wonder if the basic premise of the dark forest theory is true or not? Seemed to end in a way that would facilitate a sequel. We can only hope 😊

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

For the citizens of the Glitter Band that organization is Panoply, and the prefects are its operatives. Prefect Tom Dreyfus has a new emergency on his hands. Across the habitats and their hundred million citizens, people are dying suddenly and randomly, victims of a bizarre and unprecedented malfunction of their neural implants.

Historia
Once Homo sapiens reigned supreme, spreading from star system to star system in an empire that encountered no alien life and thus knew no enemy.... save itself. As had happened many times before, the most primal human instincts rose up, only this time armed with the advanced scientific knowledge to create a genetically engineered smart virus that quickly wiped out humanity to the last man. That man is Ruslan, the sole known surviving human being in the universe.
