George W. Sarris is an accomplished actor, narrator, and spokesman. He served on the Board of the Screen Actors Guild in Boston, and has been a spokesman for radio and television commercials and industrial films for companies such as AT&T, BMW, Burger King, Duracell, Honda, Pizza Hut, Sprint, and UPS. Mr. Sarris holds the degrees of bachelor of science in speech from Northwestern University, and master of divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has been involved in media ministry for over 30 years.

great book, smart-aleck, irritating reader

Rather than glorifying the King James language, this reader charges up your spiritual batteries with the enthusiasms of a Campus Crusade for Christ rally. He reads with amazing clarity but, gee-whiz, much too fast and with much too much emotional manipulation. Every time he says "God" he splices in an attitude of rapt amazement, pitched a whole tone higher. Miraculous! It's very didactic. I couldn't swallow it, but I'm sure many listeners will gulp it down. They certainly won't have time to chew on it.
