Historia
With all of the pluck and charm of its eponymous young hero, Rachel McAdams (The Notebook, Spotlight, Midnight in Paris) delivers a spectacular reading of Montgomery's beloved bildungsroman. In moments both funny and bittersweet, McAdams' voice is imbued with the spark that has made Anne a much-loved symbol of individualism and cheer for over a century.

A little over kill with the drama of Anne
Revisado: 02-06-24
If the character of Anne wasn’t quite so dramatic I would have enjoyed the story a little more.

Historia
Before John Glenn orbited the Earth or Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, a group of dedicated female mathematicians known as "human computers" used pencils, slide rules, and adding machines to calculate the numbers that would launch rockets and astronauts into space. Among these problem solvers were a group of exceptionally talented African American women, some of the brightest minds of their generation.

Historia
Christmas comes early—far too early—to McCredie’s little Old Town bookshop in Edinburgh. It’s summer, but an American production company has decided that McCredie’s is the perfect location to film a very cheesy Christmas movie. After all, who can resist the charmingly narrow historic street with its Victorian grey stone buildings and warmly lit shop windows? Carmen Hogan, the bookshop’s manager, is amused and a bit horrified by the goings-on, but the money the studio is paying is too good to pass up.

Story is fantastic
Revisado: 06-04-17
This story is keeps you coming back to see what has happens to the main characters. It would be better with another narrator. It is ok to listen to this gentleman for some of the story, however his representation of some of the characters is inappropriate. Mainly when he spits while he is talking, or talking with his nose plugged. It gets old and he depicts every other character with these voice that are gross. It makes it hard to continue listening even though the story is fantastic.
