A Wild Ride

This book is a masterpiece, and I can't wait to listen to the rest of them. I found the main character, sandman slim, extremely relatable. I don't know how that speaks to my character as a human being, but what I do know is that I've just finished listening to the best novel of my life.

Absolutely amazing!

Darcy Coates has done it again! A wonderful tale of paranormal horror, heroism, suspense, and in the end, Love. It has an extremely satisfying ending and left me wanting more. I'm not ashamed to say that Coates is my new favorite author, and I cannot wait until I can dive deeper into her library. Impeccable writing and story telling. This is a great starting point if you want to get a good taste for the expanse of this author's talent. I cannot say enough good things.

An amazing story. I could not put this one down an finished it in 4 days. A story of a man down on his luck quickly transforms into a delightful paranormal thriller. I will be purchasing many more books from this author. I dare say it's the best work of fiction I've ever read. The narrator made an excellent performance as well. I hope this book becomes a Series, as I don't want to leave Craven Manor just yet. If you have any doubt, get this book. You will be hooked.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would. To the normal waking person it may seem strange, but when accompanied by a mushroom or two you definitely get it.
What other book might you compare The Original Be Here Now Talks to and why?
There is no comparing this level of wisdom to anything. Ram Dass see's existence for what it is, and lays some heavy ideas on you.
Which scene was your favorite?
Every last second. Every ego shattering, beautiful sentence.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Definately, though if you were to listen to it in one sitting, you may not absorb the amazing amount of wisdom he displays.
Any additional comments?
This was obviously made in the 60's or 70's when use of psychedelics were very popular. My normal consciousness couldn't quite grasp it, but after eating one special mushroom containing (censored) I fully understood everything he was trying to say, and it absolutely changed my life. It made me realize how silly the ego is. It's not as big as we think it is, and you don't have to get rid of it. The Ego serves a purpose in the physical world, however, nothing beyond that. It is when you get lost in the illusion of ego that you run into issues.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Inner Wisdom Volume 1 & 2?
That moment when you finally get it - you understand how much your thoughts affect your reality on a physical and metaphysical level. Consciously and subconsciously It's a guide for living.
Which character – as performed by Wayne W. Dyer – was your favorite?
It is a lecture dude.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The entire Lecture was powerful!
Any additional comments?
I used to listen to this while in highschool when I had lost the tapes. I was elated when I saw it was on Audible and bought it right away. It is a great medium between his beginning works and his later works. You learn so much about how your thoughts create your reality and how we co-create our reality through your thoughts, and there is so much more to learn. And of course, his wit and humorous charm shines through as always. This is a real find. If you get any Wayne Dyer material, I recommend you certainly get this one!
