I loved how the author kept the stories short and simple but added modern comments on each story. The narrator made each story come alive and kept me wanting more from the beginning. absolutely fantastic book

to start off, the narration made this very difficult to listen to. I dont feel like he matched the character and he was slightly monotone.
the story is horrendous, characters aren't likeable and writing leaves you confused.

this book and entire series has been ruined by ridiculous storytelling and writing. nothing in this world makes any sense and none of the characters are likeable. I only finished this whole awful series because I'm a huge fan of thrawn from the original books and I was excited to learn more about him because of the animated series. thank God it's over. I will be returning this book and already returned the previous books

story and narration was great but Vin is just so damn annoying and whiny that I cant really continue the book because Ican't stand listening to little immature kids. They could have just left her out of the book and it would have been great.

I guess this is a thrawn novel

sadly these books just keep getting worse. the addition of the two young skywalkers has been such a distraction and they don't fit in the story. I feel like they make the book childish. The last quarter of the book just felt rush and incomplete. I will sadly purchase the next book in the hopes that its the last one because they have completely changed the thrawn we all love into the watered down character that they have changed him into

pretty disappointing

will wheaton did a fine job narrating but this story just felt forced and rushed. I had a hard time getting through several worlds that they had to go to. The whole thing honestly felt cheap, like they were just trying to make a sequel so they could pump out another movies. It was nice to get a little update if what happened to the character after the first movie but that was about the only good part
