Historia
My name is Amelia Gray, and I'm a cemetery restorer who lives with the dead. An anonymous donor has hired me to restore Woodbine Cemetery, a place where the rich and powerful bury their secrets. Forty years ago, a child disappeared without a trace and now her ghost has awakened, demanding that I find out the truth about her death. Only I know that she was murdered. Only I can bring her killer to justice. But the clues that I follow lead me to a series of disturbing suspects.

Very disappointing
Revisado: 04-05-20
If this was the finale, it was terrible. As another reviewer stated, they acted lie book 3 never happened. That made it really hard to trust the either of the main characters.
I have never liked Devlin and this book did very little to redeem him. He did some very unforgivable things and the main character forgave him without his seeing the error of his ways.
And the ending....really? It undid all of the main character's development over the past few boks. I kept with this series because i thought that Amelia was growing into a strong, empowered woman. I was very wrong.

more Christian Fiction than fiction about Christia
Revisado: 12-28-19
This book was okay, but not to my taste. I was expexting a mystery rather than Christian Fiction. A lot of the story was unoriginal and i figured out the bad guy at first meeting.
the book wasn't terrible and if you enjoy, literal, come to jesus talks, then this is the book for you.

Historia
This is a story about two teens falling in love over a summer that throws everything possible to keep them apart. Max: Chill. Sports. Gay and not a big deal. And a secret: An encounter with an older kid that makes it hard to breathe, one that he doesn't want to think about, ever. Jordan: The opposite of chill. Poetry. His "wives" and the Chandler Mall. Never been kissed and searching for Mr. Right, who probably won't like him anyway. And a secret: A spiraling out of control mother, and the knowledge that he's the only one who can keep the family from falling apart.

Great story
Revisado: 09-25-19
I don't usually write reviews, but this book was so great, that i couldn't help it. This book deals with all kinds of serious issues while, also, being laugh out loud funny. This was one of the sweetest love stories I've come across lately.

good start but slow end
Revisado: 07-21-15
The first half of this book was great. The second half, not so much. It got too predictable.
It was an interesting perspective, but it could have been better.

Historia
The Spandau Diary -- what was in it? Why did the secret intelligence agencies of every major power want it? Why was a brave and beautiful woman kidnapped to get it? Why did a chain of deception and violent death lash out across the globe, from survivors of the Nazi past to warriors in this new conflict about to explode? Why did the world's entire history of World War II have to be rewritten as the future hung over a nightmare abyss?

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

great start. boring end
Revisado: 06-27-15
The first half of this book was 5+ stars. I was hooked after about 20 minutes. Around the halfway mark, it got so boring that it totally lost my attention. I think that was because I'm not really into that kind of thing (I can't really explain what that is without major spoilers, but it's not anything offensive).
I really liked all the "geek" references.

Not worth the credit
Revisado: 05-22-15
The worst of Gone Girl mixed with White Girl Problems . I struggled to finish this book. The main character was incredibly unsympathetic. Actually, none of the characters were likable.
I couldn't ever figure out where the story was going, and not in a good way. I still have no idea what the big "twist" was.

Historia
Disproving Christianity and Other Secular Writings compiles popular and lesser-known arguments against the principles established by the Christian canon. Using a phenomenological approach to build his case based on in-depth study, McAfee analyzes the Hebrew Scriptures and New Testament doctrine to build a logical and reasonable case against their validity. From contradictions between lived and portrayed religions to factual errors within the texts themselves, no stone is left unturned in this fully updated and expanded refutation of Christianity.

Didn't Add Much to the Topic
Revisado: 03-11-14
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I would have given more detail.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No.
Any additional comments?
I found the additional essays more informative than the main book. The main book just rehashed the same arguments that I've already read and heard. They are not things that the Christians that I deal with take as serious criticism. These arguments are the things that they already have, albeit unsatisfying to me, answers to.

good story, bad narrator
Revisado: 07-18-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. It was a good story despite the narrator.
What didn’t you like about Scott Brick’s performance?
His voice just didn't fit the characters. It could very possibly be because he narrated a very depressing series of books and his voice just makes me think about that series.
Any additional comments?
The story wasn't great, but it was good. I would have probably liked it much better if there had been either a female narrator or if I had read it.
