Historia
Invite Hannibal Lecter into the palace of your mind and be invited into his mind palace in turn. Note the similarities in yours and his, the high vaulted chambers of your dreams, the shadowed halls, the locked storerooms where you dare not go, the scrap of half-forgotten music, the muffled cries from behind a wall. In one of the most eagerly anticipated literary events of the decade, Thomas Harris takes us once again into the mind of a killer, crafting a chilling portrait of insidiously evolving evil - a tour de force of psychological suspense.

Annoying Verger Portrayal
Revisado: 01-04-25
I couldn’t understand what the Verger portrayal was saying. Due to the character’s importance to the story, it is incredibly annoying.

Historia
Jamie Waterman has made an important discovery on Mars. A cliff dwelling reveals the fact that an intelligent race lived on the red planet 65 million years ago, only to be driven into extinction by the crash of a giant meteor. Description of Mars and its life
Revisado: 12-26-23
Really enjoyed the excitement of finding the evidence of the Martians. I didn’t find the gratuitous sexual encounters and the physical descriptions of the characters necessary or interesting.

Historia
Over five years in the making, John A. Farrell’s magnificent biography of Edward M. Kennedy is the first single-volume life of the great figure since his death. Farrell’s long acquaintance with the Kennedy universe and the acclaim of his previous books, including his New York Times-bestselling biography of Nixon, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, helped garner him access to a remarkable range of new sources, including Kennedy’s personal diary.

Far too Sugar Coated
Revisado: 02-02-23
I guess I don’t get the glamour and charm of the Kennedys. When Edward Kennedy was quoted as saying, “There is nothing worse than having your child diagnosed with cancer.” I thought of the Kopechne family.

The gripping account of how the Royal family really operates, from the journalist who has spent years studying them. Who really runs the show and, as Charles III begins his reign, what will happen next?

Interesting and informative
Revisado: 01-25-23
Fascinating look into the British Monarchy. It is like running a Fortune 500 business. My only criticism would be the reading by Mr. Low. Sometimes he reads too fast and his British accent was difficult to follow. Other times his voice gets tired, dry and crusty. A professional reader would have been a better choice.

Absolutely believable and fair. Meghan Markle's father should write a book entitled, "How I Raised a Lying, Selfish, Sociopath."

The reader “shouts” Gus McCray’s dialogue throughout the book. Annoying. I can only listen to it for 30 - 40 minutes at a time.

Historia
The Two Towers is the second volume of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic saga, The Lord of the Rings. The Fellowship has been forced to split up. Frodo and Sam must continue alone towards Mount Doom, where the One Ring must be destroyed. Meanwhile, at Helm’s Deep and Isengard, the first great battles of the War of the Ring take shape. In this splendid, unabridged audio production of Tolkien’s great work, all the inhabitants of a magical universe - hobbits, elves, and wizards - spring to life. Rob Inglis’ narration has been praised as a masterpiece of audio.

The Return of the King is the towering climax to J. R. R. Tolkien’s trilogy that tells the saga of the hobbits of Middle-earth and the great War of the Rings. In this concluding volume, Frodo and Sam make a terrible journey to the heart of the Land of the Shadow in a final reckoning with the power of Sauron. In addition to narrating the prose passages, Rob Inglis sings the trilogy’s songs and poems a capella, using melodies composed by Inglis and Claudia Howard, the Recorded Books studio director.

Unedited Reading of a Classic

My one and only complaint is the singing. I would prefer a recitation of the “songs”. The tunes were lack luster and long.
