Didn’t find it as engaging as previous books

It’s been my favorite series for sure!!!
I’m not sure why I wasn’t able to “get into it” this time. Maybe it’s been too long since the last one I read to recall all the characters. Probably because the first time I read the series I went through all the books available. Was so great to hear Gomez Pugh again as always. I seriously love the amazing work of Jordan Castillo Price.

So funny cute clever and romantic

I actually laughed out loud several times with the funny things that the main character says or her antics. She has a great group of girlfriends that are very funny. It’s a terrific story with lots of build up and never boring. The narrator did the other characters so well I forgot they weren’t other people narrating. Really well written. I also loved the “Forget Me Not” book with the sequel that develops the relationship between Ollie and Reed; a compelling story.

SO WONDERFULLY FUNNY. I would turn on my audiobook as often as I could

Heather McDonald is a huge talent with a lot of presence and poise in her narration. I really enjoyed getting to know her and the life that she’s lived. She’s got a lot of heart and soul but can be sharply witty. This is one funny Lady!

In the genre of the incredible Chelsea Handler, who can tell stories that make you laugh out loud (Like the prison story in her book, “Vodka...” (I think), I felt Heather was by far more consistent and even in her storytelling, always making a point, never rambling, and never disgusting in her over-drinking. Heather was purposeful and wanted to pass on what she’s learned. I enjoyed her voice as it was expressive and really pleasant. You can really feel close to Heather through her experiences, and I rooted for her. I was sorry that this book was only about three hours (but actually felt like eight in a good way) but glad that her next book (the new) is five or so hours. I can’t wait to read that! Don’t miss this gem!

Awful story, confusing, female narrator immature.

A close friend raved about this and I ordered it without even looking at the story review. I trusted her so much. She had recommended books like Circe and Spinning Silver. It started off so promising with an interesting content and direction. Then I just lost comprehension and interest fairly fast. I admit I had to jump around to see if anything happened that was worthwhile plot wise but I never found it.

Narrator’s Voice and choice of words were implausible. You definitely had to suspend belief in anything real here. Was it intentionally written to be so erotic? The last final story development was touching, however.

Was as HORRIBLE. It was as AWFUL as her book Spinning Silver was amazing

I had just read Spinning Silver, The author’s latest book. I absolutely loved it! Even though it was confusing from the different points of view, it was a fantastic story and written so beautifully. And the narrator was very effective. I could not believe how flat and unemotional this narrator was. Her accent was distracting. The story was tedious, hard to follow, not interesting, convoluted and the various story developments were not plausible even for the kind of fantasy book that it is. The characters were as one dimensional as the latest book was multi dimensional. I want to ask The author about her choice of narrator, “what were you thinking?”

Couldn’t finish it, it was so awful!

All these reviews that were so stellar, funny hysterical laughed out loud , people must’ve been very high when they read this book and who gave it high accolades. A sad waste of time. I have loved the narrator in other books except for this one.

wonderful story.

Really held my interest. Fully developed characters. The authors capture themes true to the struggles we as gay men have with intimacy. helped by a talented and lively narrator, Michael Pauley, who succeeded in distinguishing voices and expressing real emotion. I ordered all his other books as a result.
