Not as good as I expect from Patterson

This was a good read, but too short for me. I like longer books that are more developed and I was a bit disappointed in the book not making more of the issues.

Historia
Lawrence Sanders's masterpiece, The First Deadly Sin, set a standard for today's novels of psychological suspense. Now, retired Captain Ed Delaney returns to a distinctly urban milieu of paranoia and impulsive violence to solve a brutal murder that shocks New York's unshockable art world. The victim is Victor Maitland. Long-considered one of the world's greatest artists, he excelled in capturing the beauty of life on canvas. In private, he destroyed whomever he pleased: his wife, his son, his mistress, his dearest friends and family.

Historia
“Long live the King” hailed Entertainment Weekly upon publication of Stephen King’s On Writing. Part memoir, part master class by one of the bestselling authors of all time, this superb volume is a revealing and practical view of the writer’s craft, comprising the basic tools of the trade every writer must have. King’s advice is grounded in his vivid memories from childhood through his emergence as a writer, from his struggling early career to his widely reported, near-fatal accident in 1999—and how the inextricable link between writing and living spurred his recovery.

Historia
It was one of Eve Dallas’s earliest takedowns, back in her uniform days. A monster named Isaac McQueen had been abducting young victims and leaving them scarred in both mind and body. Thanks to Eve, he wound up where he belonged, removed from civilized society in Rikers. But he’s not behind bars anymore. After his escape, McQueen has two things in mind. One is to take up where he left off, preying on the young and innocent - when necessary, with the help of a female partner all too willing to be manipulated and to aid and abet his crimes.

Fills your time if you have nothing else to do.
Revisado: 12-20-11
What did you like best about New York to Dallas? What did you like least?
It was somewhat likeable, but mostly predictable, written in a future time, when there was no reason for it and just did not do anything for me.
Would you recommend New York to Dallas to your friends? Why or why not?
I dont think I would recommend this book to other, since I feel it was a waste of my credit, but I listened to all of it before I judged it.
Any additional comments?
If you find it on the $4.95 sale or 2 for 1 sale, then it might be a good deal. Other than that, don't waste your time.
