The book was relatively good but purchased based on the author’s name. I was, however, disappointed the book was not up to the quality I have come to expect from Mr. Deaver. I will continue to purchase the Rhyme series but not this one.

Good read but a little far out from what I expected.

I liked the two books in this series but a little more far out that normal for Nora Roberts. I have enjoyed her books over the years with small amounts of the occult but I hope this series is not a harbinger of things to come.

I could not get into this book like a James Patterson novel. It is completely out of his norm and I did not like it at all. I am going to return it, in fact. I listened for about an hour and just could not get with it. I don't like this kind of suspense. I will not buy another with this co-author. I think Mr. Patterson has made a mistake in putting his name on this one.

Would you consider the audio edition of Fast and Furious to be better than the print version?
With this subject matter, I can see no difference in the impact the book would have. I read it for a factual portrayal of the definitely illegal practice by an agency of our country.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The whistleblowers! We need people to stand up and tell the truth in these autocratic times.
Have you listened to any of Emily Durante’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No - I look for authors and content - not permormers, although they make a huge difference in the enjoyment of audiobooks.
