Historia
There is nothing more essential to our health and well-being than breathing. Yet, as a species, humans have lost the ability to breathe correctly, with grave consequences. Journalist James Nestor travels the world to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. The answers aren’t found in pulmonology labs, as we might expect, but in the muddy digs of ancient burial sites, secret Soviet facilities, New Jersey choir schools, and the smoggy streets of São Paulo. Nestor tracks down men and women exploring the hidden science behind ancient breathing practices.

Changed Me For the Better
Revisado: 02-27-24
While I only implemented a couple of the practices from this book, it has made a profound difference in my quality of sleep which has equated to noticeably better waking hours. It hasn't fixed all of my issues but I've been able to make significant strides in the right direction with just 2 techniques from the book. Well worth the investment!

Okay Book, Terrible Narrator
Revisado: 02-27-24
Hard to get into this book when the narrator is this bland, especially if you've heard how the author speaks. The narrator sounds devoid of life and has many mispronunciations throughout the book. I find it hard to believe that this is rated so high when the content delivery is so poor.
