I’ve never listen to a book by this author so I didn’t know that she evidently has a supernatural aspect in her novels. Soooo not my cup of tea… Couldn’t even finish actually.

I read this book quite a while ago and really enjoyed. But the reader was so bad I did not enjoy this audiobook anywhere near as much. Her accents are the pits!!!

Yes This book was AWFUL!!!!
And the reader just became more and annoying as the book ricocheted from trivial to absurd to just plain unbearable. And she needs to learn to pronounce quite a few words starting with aplomb!! Which she pronounces a plum!

I couldn’t even get through this one. The story Did not hold together. I am so tired of poorly written book like this. Why are there so many of them. I need to find a good book and this certainly wasn’t it.

I couldn’t even listen to the entire book—the plot and writing were so bad and far-fetched and juvenile. I know that books are mainly “written” by committee these days and the editor is responsible in large part for the final work which is why I am always amazed by the blatant errors that make it into the final edition. ie: at the end of the book Daphne has moved to Southern California and bought a house in Santa Cruz!!!!! Someone should look at a map!!
