I chose this rating because I was entertained. It was well performed. I would recommend this book for people who like crime suspense.

Historia
Hungary is more than just vampire stories and cheesy violin-playing waiters named “Laszlo”. It has a rich history that goes back to the first wild Magyar horsemen, who arrived there in the late ninth century. For a time, the Magyars were both mercenaries and raiders, a horse-bound version of the Vikings in France and Britain. They terrorized the populations of Austria, Germany, and even Italy and eastern France. After the Austro-Hungarian defeat in WWI, Hungary became an independent nation.

A violent story.
Revisado: 02-21-22
This three hours summary of 1,400 years of history is well done for neophytes about Hungarian history. Now I’m better able to read a more elaborate, in depth history. This outline familiarize me with names and places. This is worth the value.

Promoting the Warrior Race
Revisado: 12-10-21
I like the imagination of the writer. We often think about the consequences of the digital era and the possibilities of what the computer can do. Putting the power of digital technology into the context of creating war machines is an important tool of the writer. Many people promote what the future will be. I like this effort but feel fear about this senario being possible.
This book is for mature minds that won’t exploit these ideas.

Historia
The true story of what took place in Donald Trump’s White House during a disastrous 2020 has never before been told in full. What was really going on around the president, as the government failed to contain the coronavirus and over half a million Americans perished? Who was influencing Trump after he refused to concede an election he had clearly lost and spread lies about election fraud? To answer these questions, Phil Rucker and Carol Leonnig reveal a dysfunctional and bumbling presidency’s inner workings in unprecedented, stunning detail.

I’m trying to Believe the unbelievable.
Revisado: 08-12-21
I’m trying to imagine myself as a College history major doing research on President Trump. This book would mesmerize me with its overwhelming amount of facts. It would be hard to believe this as an historical record instead of an historical novel.
The detailed information filled in the daily news reports that informed our nation as we lived through this unbelievable event of history. This book documented Mr Trumps character which was presented to us by his niece Mary Trump in her book about her Uncle. These two books are companion editions to understand Tump’s presidency and the aftermath. I hope the world reads this book and contemplates the need to elect healthy politicians more than TV mega stars.

Revealing and stunning
Revisado: 03-19-21
The author has a story telling style which brings the reader into critical issues that affect our culture and society. His hero doesn’t judge the social culture giving him freedom to confront the participants in the important issues that shape the experiences of our lives. The result is that small components of the lived experience has significant impact on the overall picture. The military component of our society is a trustworthy Gaurdian. The military man embodies the moral principles which supports the infrastructure of a trustworthy society.

Open mind listening.
Revisado: 01-08-21
Mr Gregory’s style is easy to listen to. I’m open to his theory of discrimination against blacks and the pervasive influence of white supremacy. The accumulation of facts through the narrative reminds me of the saying, baffle them with nonsense. His narrative stacks story on story to prove his premise. Though the stories are sequential the facts are unrelated. I learned a lot about the great number of influential black people. There are a great resource for the progress of all people. I also agree that there is systemic bias against people of color. If his premise was that the world has progressed through the contribution of black even through discrimination than the book would be more effective. I enjoyed the book once I reclassified it as the importance of being a gifted black person or person of color.
