Historia
Wally Roux is a teenage genius with a big imagination and a big heart, who just moved to Savannah, GA, from Maine with his mom, who adopted him when he was an infant. In this charming and sweet solo performance, Wally investigates what is causing a number of strange events and occurrences. He explores and gets lost within space-time - an infinite, indefinable, and mysterious void that you can’t see but when you slice into it you can feel it.

Every part of terrible!
Revisado: 12-29-19
If this audiobook wasn’t free, I’d want my money back, the plot is of a teenager & has nothing to do with quantum physics or mathematics or anything else. It’s just a teenage boy & his problems.

Historia
Ensign Andrew Dahl has just been assigned to the Universal Union Capital Ship Intrepid, flagship of the Universal Union since the year 2456. Life couldn’t be better…until Andrew begins to pick up on the facts that (1) every Away Mission involves some kind of lethal confrontation with alien forces; (2) the ship’s captain, its chief science officer, and the handsome Lieutenant Kerensky always survive these confrontations; and (3) at least one low-ranked crew member is, sadly, always killed.

Funny enough to make me laugh at the airport
Revisado: 02-27-18
There are not many books which make me laugh, Tina Fey could not make me do it, but Al Franken could, and so can this book. If you love Star Trek (any version) this will make you laugh and I can't wait to watch the show on cable TV if I can find it. I was hooked but you need to get about 2 hours into it.

In this intense detective thriller instilled with philosophical, religious, and social commentary, Dostoevsky studies the psychological impact upon a desperate and impoverished student when he murders a despicable pawnbroker, transgressing moral law to ultimately "benefit humanity".

Not sure why everyone loves this book
Revisado: 02-25-13
The story at its core could have been done faster than the author choose to write it but it goes into great detail about every aspect of these characters' lives and thoughts. The part which frustrated me was the in-depth conversion which the author writes, and drones continuously at some points in the book. There were a couple of times I wanted to stop the audiobook but since I was half way or more I continued, it felt like I chore rather than interesting novel.
Place it on the "maybe when I'm bore list, I'll read it."

Historia
In the satirical tradition of Catch-22 and M*A*S*H, Fobbit takes us into the chaotic world of Baghdad's Forward Operating Base Triumph. The Forward Operating base, or FOB, is like the back-office of the battlefield - where people eat and sleep, and where a lot of soldiers have what looks suspiciously like an office job. Male and female soldiers are trying to find an empty Porta Potty in which to get acquainted, grunts are playing Xbox, and watching NASCAR between missions....

Mordern Catch-22
Revisado: 02-25-13
This is the Iraq war version of Catch-22, with laughs and connections to current life. I laughed at the idea that even half of this book might be true. While I thought Catch-22 went on and on about the craziness of WWII this book get to the craziness in a funnier way.

This book has a wonderful story to tell but the time and narrative shift adds an element suspense which I didn't see the next turn in the plot. I've read 1984, All Quiet on the Western Front, Lord of Flies, Lolita, War & Peace and numerous others and this book has the right to be considered part of that list.

A holy man to Hindus, a hero to Muslims, and a criminal to the British, Mohandas K. Gandhi was an inspiring figure of the 20th century, a man whose quest to live in accord with God’s highest truth led him to initiate massive campaigns against racism, violence, and colonialism.

The Narrator kills this wonderful book!
Revisado: 10-03-11
I am East Indian and have read this book before, I wanted to reread this book for a long time but simple did not have the time. With my long daily commute this audiobook was the perfect solution, but I was not prepared the terrible job Bill Wallace does with all the Hindi and Sanskrit words. He could not even correctly pronoun city names or basic geography without me cringing, this take away from the life lessons which are shared by Gandhiji. It shame and sad someone better was not picked to read this book.
Save your money and don't listen to this book, buy the actual book and read it.
