Historia
When an eccentric Englishman named Phileas Fogg makes a daring wager that he can circle the globe in just eighty days, it’s the beginning of a breathlessly-paced world tour. With his devoted servant Passepartout at his side, Fogg sets off on an adventurous journey filled with amazing encounters and wild mishaps. Pursued all the way by the bumbling Detective Fix, who believes the two travelers are bank robbers on the run, Fogg and Passepartout must use every means of transportation known to 19th-century man - including a hot-air balloon, a locomotive, and an elephant - to win the bet.

Historia
Actor Kelsey Grammer, best known for his roles in the TV sitcoms Cheers and Frasier, delivers Bitter Brew, a compelling mystery featuring Detective Bill Walsh, an upstate cop in the quiet, rural town of Beatriceville, 200 miles north of New York City, who suspects foul play in the death of millionaire city transplant Jonathan Kimball, even though the evidence points to suicide, not murder.

Historia
The most toxic racial arguments share one of five traits. They try to erase Black history, prioritize white victimhood, deny Black oppression, promote myths of Black inferiority, or rebrand racism as something else entirely. They’re all designed to distract society from racial justice, but now we have the tools to debunk them.

Interesting perspective
Revisado: 12-23-24
I found this an interesting perspective, with some points of view to consider. Clearly the focus is just as the title suggests, everything is about race and there can never be forgiveness. I think the Lord would have us love one another, treat each other as He would have us, and to forgive any transgressions against us. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. May God bless us all.

This is a well written and performed audio book. I highly recommend it. Ashly White’s story and the CST program was unknown to me, but should be made into a movie so more can know.

Great Stories Well Written and Superb Narration
Revisado: 11-01-24
Each story is so well portrayed all true and gripping to realize innocent people being railroaded because of someone’s career obsessions. The scales of justice were wrongly tipped too often and unfortunately this is likely going on today in many jurisdictions. Highly recommended this awesome read!
