I lost interest in the show on HBOMAX after two episodes. However, I was still interested. Emily St.John Mandel is now one of my favorite authors. She writes with beauty and depth in a manner that doesn’t assume the reader is an inept bubblegum consumer of entertainment. Awesome piece of work!

Woke is an eyeopener

Being more of a moderate, I am often left feeling our country has become so disjointed and irrational, that our great experiment might be deteriorating beyond rebuilding. Ramaswamy brings a great perspective on how we wandered off the path, but can and will, regain our e pluribus unum aspirations.

As an open and moderate right, this is a good read to ensure you don't stay in your perspective echo chamber. Great author and honest about political lean. Respect the tepid attempts to be balanced about the greatly flawed Democrat and Republican machines. Looking past differences in policy views, we can find more in common. Good read to start the conversation without assuming corners that feel all Republicans are Trumpers and all Democrats are Socialist.

excellent book and one of that is just as important today... especially for today. when most set up camp in polar extremes, it is good to get out of your groupthink and rethink.

Raw, Real and Reflective for those willing

As a white male, social moderate, fiscal conservative, I have found most of the two dimensional political leaders of late have done very little to "fix" our problems on "both sides." I have challenged both my left and right leaning friends of different ethnic backgrounds to read and consider that the problem is not solved by "them" but can be solved by US. powerful read.
