I really enjoyed the book. Lots of great ideas and considerations to keep in mind as you work through and consider life's challenges. Two things stick in my mind. In relating them to you I will paraphrase. Jeff Bezos is constantly asked what has changed and what is new but is seldom asked what hasn't changed or remains the same. Prices. fast delivery. those have and always will be critical for the business. Another is that sounds heal but scars remain.Think about that.

really enjoyed this book. Tokyo Vice the book and TVshow on HBO. Pulls back any element of romanticism you may have about the Yakuza and modern day gangsters in Japan. And the changing nature of crime and criminals in an evolving modern society. Great characters. Great stories. Great listen. 👍

The philosophical basis of our country goes back to the Greeks and Romans and is everpresent every day. the role and importance of James Madison in the creation of the US is something I had no understanding of. the pernicious presence and acceptance of slavery was surprising to me and shocking. The fact that 3 of 4 founding fathers owned slaves was also a surprise.
