Sizzling but Sweet Story

Loved the male narrator. As for the female one, I know Andi is very popular and she doesn't do anything especially annoying here but she is just not one of my favourites - most likely because I think she is overused in this genre and I've heard her read some really dumb books.

This story is good. Light romance, nothing too deep or dark going on. Solid writing, no strange or jarring parts. I liked it. I wouldn't pay a full credit for it. But I liked it.

Too much raunch

The raunchiness in what is otherwise a good romance is distracting to start and yawn inducing as it continues to fluff the actual story and lengthen it needlessly as you near the last 10 or more chapters. I couldn't believe there were two hours left and probably 50% of that was just raunchy wasted words. Probably won't listen to the next book... which is a disappointment since at times I really enjoyed this one. Narrators were excellent.

Sweet Classic KA Romance

I fell in love right along with Johnny and Izzy. This was a good reminder of why I love Kristen Ashley. Although perhaps these should be under romance + fantasy fiction since I'm not sure they actually make men like that in real life. Oh well, it's a fun dream world to spend some time in. I didn't like the male narrator. He read the entire thing in one anxious, urgent tone that felt off especially during the less exciting bits. The female narrator was perfection.

Best in the Series!

I like this series, I’ve listened to every book and really enjoyed most of them. But this book is hands down the best. So much passion. The love story is beautiful. The lead characters are so easy to fall in love with. I loooved this book. I was laughing, crying and addicted through the whole thing! Warning: this one is binge-worthy. I finished it in two days. The perfect weekend treat 😊

Catching up

I like this series but this one felt like it was kind of all over the place. There were old and new characters, old and new stories. I can tell the author was revving up for a lot of spin off books. Still good. I'll read the next one. But a focus on the main love story with less sideline story detail filling would have helped to reduce boredom.

It's a Good One

Well written, well developed characters, sweet love story with a strong storyline that had me laughing and occasionally tearing up. Jack and Mel are the sweetest people! You won't be able to help falling in love right along with them. Narration was excellent. This book is definitely worth a credit.

Pleasant surprise

This was quite a good story. I didn't mind the narrator switch from male to female although I did prefer the female voice. My only dislike is a certain level of disappointment in the love of this love story. It wasn't very moving. It was sweet and a little sexy at times and I enjoyed the book, but a little more passion would have made it so much better.

Good for what it is

This is a sexy bedtime story. Definitely a decadent desert of a book - but homemade - not junk food. The narrator has a sexy voice and did well on both the male and female parts.
Would like to listen to a longer book by this author, one perhaps with just a bit more meat and potatoes. :)

Sweet and Sexy and Funny too

I love this series and as I move directly onto the third (and final?) book after this one I'm not sure I'd be able to pick a favourite. The Player and the Pixie far from disappointed on all the areas that I feel make up a good love story. The cherry on top is that this story is charming and will have you laughing out loud as you enjoy the ride. Great emotional build up, informative back stories and well developed characters. I didn't love the male narrator but he grew on me. It was something about the accent (a bit too posh for my taste - but he was posh so I just sucked it up!). Regardless of that, I highly recommend this book and the series.
