Very Relatable, Very Achievable

I love how this non-fiction book starts out with a protagonist! Ms. Skeldon introduces her audience to a very relatable character named Justin. Justin is a little bit like all of us: a very driven party-goer. Unfortunately for Justin, he is starting to run on fumes. Due to his poor diet, Justin's energy is plummeting. I'm guessing this is something we can all empathize with.
Ms Skeldon then goes on to talk about different types of carbs, different diets, different outcomes.
This book is well written and very well narrated! Good Job Stephanie Quinn!!

This book speaks at the importance of refraining from the vice that stands in your way to excellence.
St. John of Kronstadt would take to the streets in the morning where all the drunks were passed out. He would hold them in his lap and tell them that they were living beneath the dignity that God had created for them.
This book does well to create an image that without self-control and a respectful desire to live up to your calling, you will not achieve that which you were created for.

I have been a part of CBT counseling my whole life until about three years ago, at which point I started studying DBT. DBT adds everything that CBT is missing. Barrett Huang does a great job of taking DBT concepts and applying them to daily life in order to help the reader manage stress, sleep better, overcome emotional fear, ...etc.
And of course Barrett chose the amazing narrator "Jeff Bower" to read this audiobook.

It's obvious from the get-go that this author has experience in dealing with narcissistic behavior. Gabriella does an amazing job of including Cycles in stages of experience in dealing with narcissism and how to overcome it.
I also think Caro Egan did a great job narrating the book.
