Historia
Anna Kendrick's autobiographical collection of essays amusingly recounts memorable moments throughout her life, from her middle-class upbringing in New England to the blockbuster movies that have made her one of Hollywood's most popular actresses today. Expanding upon the witty and ironic dispatches for which she is known, Anna Kendrick's essays offer her one-of-a-kind commentary on the absurdities she's experienced on her way to and from the heart of pop culture.

Anna and I are now best friends
Revisado: 01-09-17
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. I love audiobooks and I am a huge advocate of learning and listening and supporting the arts. In supporting Anna by purchasing this book, I feel as though I better understand her story and potentially the story of any "star" in Hollywood. It's easy to forget that they are people too. Anna's story and especially her voice telling her own story give great insight and understanding to who she is and how she got to where she is today. A great inspiration to any aspiring actress or artist.
What did you like best about this story?
Anna's story is very interesting, and she adds a bit of humor to most situations. She started simple and worked her way to the top, and worked hard. It's a great example and inspiration for any dreamer with big dreams.
Which scene was your favorite?
Anna describing her mothers reaction to her father when he explains that a Broadway audience is clapping for Anna. I burst into tears. A mothers live and pride for her children gets me every time.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
See above. Yes. Both.
Any additional comments?
I am inspired to write my own autobiography! If I deticate it to Anna Kendrick for the inspiration, can I meet her?!
