Wow! Corruption in running leads to industry giant.

Hard to say if I’ll buy a pair of Nikes again. However like it seems with everything- the entire system needs a check. If that makes sense? Also I’m starting to wonder if we’ll ever know the extend of “doping” in modern day sports?
I feel for the author. It takes a strong person to stand up for injustice. All while people are calling her names, and a large corporation standing behind the person(s) she’s accusing of wrong doing. (Which I’m sure Alberto and his athletes / colleagues did.)
This book is worth a read!

Fun listen.

A fun story of being out west during the gold rush. And a nice story of the protagonist getting pulled into different directions. But following the true path. Wish I could understand some of the Indian story’s better- but I suppose it’s up to interpretation? Would recommend giving it a listen!

Great book

Left me wanting a more. I was excited to continue listening to this book. Some books are also easier to follow along with, and I felt like this was one. I can’t really relate to the characters too much. But it definitely opened my eyes to events that are probably taking place as I’m writing this review. Some events being evil and others just mysterious in a way. Give this book a listen!

Wonderful tale.

I didn't want this book to end the way it did. I knew that it probably wouldn't end with unicorns, and people riding into the sunset. It felt like a real life story. This book was an eye opener to life. I described the series to a coworker and the were astonished at the hardship of these characters. This was a great series.
