Absolutely phenomenal!

I slept on this series for SO long, and I’m kicking myself in the butt for it big time. I loved Book 1 (hi, Leon!), and I gotta say, this one knocked it out of the water. I love, love, loved Zane and Juniper’s story. I loved how gritty she was and how she matched him at every turn. I loved his devotion and sarcasm and how explosive their chemistry was. It’s just such a well-written series, and I’m eagerly anticipating Book 3!

Bookstagram peer pressure is 100% the reason I picked up this book. Hearing SebYo’s spicy talk is absolutely the way to go. I really enjoyed the story. I loved the progression between Rhett and Summer, especially all of their tender moments (the constellations?? I can’t. Swooned so hard.) The spice hit very right, and I enjoyed the exploration of bull riding, as I haven’t read many stories with it before. I also adored Kip and Harvey- talk about fantastic side characters. The only thing that kind of grated on me was the explosion of insecurity and blaming that happened before the breakup scene (also that one sibling suuuuuuuucks), but overall it was truly a great read, and I’m very glad I picked it up.

I got the audio solely based on a reel with a snippet of the book. It absolutely transcended all of my hopes and expectations, and I will never be able to recommend it enough. This story has my whole heart.

It was okay

I struggled really hard with the pacing of this story and the ‘two ships passing in the night’ time jumps. I’m glad Grant and Declan were able to grow and find their way back to each other, and the book was good. It was just hard for me to feel connected to this installment.

I did enjoy this book, and I certainly always love Jacob and Teddy’s narration work. They truly can do no wrong. Something about Grant and Dec didn’t quiiite ensnare me the way I hoped, but I do have book two and am listening to that next!

I’ve had this book in my TBL for ages and finally got to it! I absolutely adored this story. The characters, the chemistry, the humor and tender moments, and of course, the hockey. Wes and Jamie get 5 stars from me! And Jacob and Teddy narrating together can literally do no wrong. So that’s a mega bonus!

I genuinely loved it!

1). Erin, Emma, & Maxine. A total dream trio.
2). I forgot how much I looove Maxine’s male voice, which is basically blasphemy, so I’m on the hunt for more of her books.
3). This story was actually so freaking good. I’d put it off for ages, but I’m working through my TBL by shortest to longest and finally got here. Teddy and London were fantastic! There were several instances where I laughed out loud, and their chemistry and banter were off the charts.

I don’t know how to really articulate my thoughts on this book. The narration was very good, and Elizabeth Hart is a new-to-me narrator! It was engaging enough for me not to DNF it, so that’s why I went with a very baseline 3 stars. I just felt that there were a LOT of plot points thrown together, all of which require a hefty level of suspension of disbelief. I also never got truly attached to any of the many characters present. So while it was interesting, for me, it was just a little too much to keep up with. Not bad by any means, but I’m not going to continue with the series.

I still haven’t read very many Penelope Ward books, just a couple of her co-writes with Vi Keeland. I utterly adored this book. Raven and Gavin had such a magical connection despite the passing of time & being deprived of each other for so long, and I loved Mr. M throughout the story and Weldon (in the 10 years later chapters, mind you). This was a super quick listen, and I’m really glad I read it!
