There are many interesting characters in this small town of 998 imperfect souls, many of whom the listener will come to know and love, but it's the special bond between Sigrid Traugott and Hogan Engle that will capture your heart as their story of friendship, separation, heartache, and love unfold throughout the many seasons of their lives.

I love this book.

This is an amazing and beautiful story of love, hope and faith in good times and bad times, fun times and hard times. By the end of the book you will feel a need to hear more about the people you have come to know and love, even though the story itself is completely ended. It is a book you could read over and over. This is one of my very favorite authors.
