She isn't pretty, she's BEAUTIFUL!

I heard an interview that Keah recently did on the Tom Joyner Morning Show and HAD to but her book. I have a 34 y/o Male cousin with Cerebral Palsy and wanted to hear her story. I always thought that I was "woke" when it came to relating and interacting with people who have various medical conditions, but Keah let me know that there's always more that we can learn. I loved her straight forward way where she laid her soul bare and let us into her world.
Keah is someone I'd love to meet and be friends with via social media. Following her would never be boring. She's bright, funny, painfully honest and tremendously insightful.
Thank you for teaching me and making me even more aware.

Uplifting

I read this book years ago and chose to listen to it this time to be refreshed and encouraged. Being reminded of the Potter's love for me and the cleansing needed to make me strong.
I was a little disappointed with the narrator as there were a few words she mispronounced which distracted me, but I still found the reading to be enjoyable overall.

Honest and thought provoking

I've heard Miss Pat and bits and pieces of her story on the Tom Joyner Morning Show for a few years now, but being able to hear the full story in her voice was wonderful! Yes, she had a hard life, but her love for her family is bottomless. I thank God for the people he placed in her life to help her along the way. I also pray that those who abused, molested, belittled and attempted to shame her get their just reward.
She is a living testimony to what doesn't kill you will make you stronger.

Truly enjoyable!

I truly enjoyed listening to this! Between the story and the story teller, I'm not sure such I enjoyed more. I would definitely listen to anything that she provided the voice for in the future. I'm originally from New Jersey and now live in North Carolina. My mother was born in South Carolina, so hearing the stories about New York and her trip to South Carolina with her dad made me feel like I was right next to her the whole time. Looking forward to reading or listening to anything that Sharon will produce in the future.

I really struggled to finish this book. Slow build up to story line then a rush to finish. Disappointing.

Not as good as her first in the series

This book was not as engaging as the first book in the series. I hope that the third book is better.

There were a couple of accents that the narrator didn't quite nail, but I was able to identify each of the characters as she remained consistent.

I have recently met someone that I'd like to develop a true relationship with. I know that I have many fears and misgivings from past relationships and I don't want to sabotage this as I've done previously. Stephan speaks to those things which I need to ficus on as we move forward. I am looking for my Boaz and being prayerful, patient, and open to hearing God's voice will help me do that. Thank you for allowing yourself to be used by God to deliver this message to woman in need of direction. God's blessings to all those who embrace this book and God's hand.

I didn't see the movie, but I will listen to this book over and over. Great character development; interesting twists and turns; reminded me of my grandmother, mother and aunts and their never-ending prayers for me; spiritually uplifting.
