Historia
Jason Bourne has faced many killers before, but none as dangerous or as cruelly inventive as the assassin who calls himself Lennon. Bourne thought he had Lennon cornered in Iceland, only to have the killer escape in a fiery explosion. Now Lennon’s trail leads Bourne to New York and then to Washington – and the body count rises with each deadly encounter.

Out of Touch
Revisado: 03-08-24
Nothing works like that, not even Jason Bourne. They haven’t used cordite since WWII. And the political jab at the left trying to suppress the right left me cold.

Historia
Bad things happen in threes; at least, that's what Annie Fullerton has always believed. And the way her life is shaping up, she feels like the proverbial poster girl! Her career as an up-and-coming sous chef has gone up in smoke, she's lost her beloved pet, and then her roommate, Danica, has betrayed her in the worst possible way. It's the straw that breaks the camel's back. I mean, come on! A person can only take so much!

Historia
Revelation "Reve" Dyer grew up with her grandmother’s family stories, stretching back centuries to Reve’s ancestors, who founded the town of Hawley Five Corners, Massachusetts. Their history is steeped in secrets, for few outsiders know that an ancient magic runs in the Dyer women’s blood, and that Reve is a magician whose powers are all too real. Reve and her husband are world-famous Las Vegas illusionists. They have three lovely young daughters, a beautiful home, and what seems like a charmed life. But Reve’s world is shattered....

Detestable protagonist
Revisado: 10-17-18
It is hard to root for a hero who is a self pitying narcissist. All of her worries were about how it made her feel with little interest in the emotional concerns of the other characters. Even when Revelation’s daughters were released the reader is informed only of the relief Rev feels with no emotional characterization of her daughters. Rev has no empathy for others, sad in the face of what might have been an otherwise engaging story.
