Nice to revisit characters

This is my second attempt at listening to this book. The first time, I just couldn’t finish. It didn’t quite feel like Daevabad trilogy. It’s a bit more raw, a bit more scattered.
But after some time passed I came back. And despite it is still not the same it felt very nice to visit the characters again, to hear characteristic Chakraborty’s style. I am happy this book exists

She creates an interesting atmosphere, but some of the flashbacks take to long. The ending is a little too Colorin Colorado for me. Wished for more =(

I liked the most all the stories of various ways to combine various careers. There were mentioned some options I didn't know existed, and because of that I didn't think to try. Systematization of various paths is also nice. I wish there was an appendix with details about the beginnings of every path.

Difficult to follow but brilliant, athmospheric.

It is hard to follow the story, at least as an audio book, But despite that it is worth reading. The atmosphere and feeling she creates is very magical and unique to her. Performance is really good!

Succinct, clear, actionable. Good examples and interesting references. I read some things on project management before, but have never been an expert. But I work with complex IT projects for a living as an IC and saw many fail and few succeeded. Recently started leading my own and we have actually began applying some of the advice. So far it feels like the best of the systems I worked with.

What about Professor Shai Cherry’s performance did you like?
Dr. Shai Cherry is very engaging and explains things very clearly. Despite his obvious love for the Judaism he stays critical and gives different perspectives. The mixture of stories and 'theory' is perfect. Absolutely loved the book, listed to some sections twice. I had so much fun.
