Reread 40 years later

Rereading after 40 years I can still laugh at Dan's wit, and cringe slightly @ words. It caused me to think how publishers nowadays in a politically correct world, how would this book be published.
Hopefully it wouldn't as I am sure there's no maliciousness involved.
I'm looking forward to reading more from Dan Jenkins, his daughter Sally as well. I am becoming a big fan, she's every bit as good as her father was.

Wish that I could've been with him on that voyage! His desire to best something few men have tried to achieve is one of the things I too look to.

You left us hanging at the end! Your potential has two goals. The hundred meter goal maybe the mole, the five meter goal the illness that someone contracted.
Or vice versa, depends. Either way I'm interested in the next book regardless of how it goes. one of my favorite authors.

About the ending

I trust the epilogue was a teaser for the next story and the radio host is involved somehow. Otherwise, I'm questioning the reasoning for it. Is that the characters direction from here to see just how cruel you can make him? Granted his opposition wouldn't hesitate if the roles were reversed, I'm just wondering if you weren't trying to suggest another plot. If you were going for gore factor kudos, personally didn't care for it. It takes the " Hero Factor " completely out of the equation. I realize that's our world nowadays but it's a bitter pill to swallow.

Very good read! The only thing I hated about this novel was the fact that I have to wait another year to get to what may (or may not) be the end to a thrilling story. Well done Alex!

Wonderful Story!!

So interesting that I went back to make sure I had the storyline. Usually that's a bothersome task but the story made it enjoyable. Strange character dictates strange directions at times. Kyle Mills has so far managed to maintain Vince Flynn's touch on the character while making subtle ones of his own

A very good book

Surprised by the ending, the author has done a very great job with this character. The tragedy that is Victor's chosen life isn't easy to envision, constantly on alert, the attention to detail. I'm looking forward to finding out more about him, why did he happen down this path, what was the triggering effect.
I've told all of my friends about this character, we've already decided who should get the title role. Well done Thomas!
