This book includes things like cannibalism, necrophilia, dismemberment of a baby, and even more I'm sure but I won't be finishing this. It was literally just a graphic written out of a man having s*x with a baby's corpse so hard that the head ripped off at one point? It was just shocking for the sake of being shocking and I'm not sure how this got passed any publisher or even got allowed on audible.
Even if you don't care about any of that none of the characters are likeable or even enjoyable to read about. They're whiny, stuck up and painfully boring. The book is ill researched and at points the sentences don't even make sense.

I couldn't finish

The reader sounds like Ben Shapiro and it really throws me off. I've heard good things about the story but couldn't get passed the fourth chapter and the main character is unnerving and I can't find a single reason to sympathize with him. Also some things in the book are supposed to sound sexy but just come off as gross (not fetish wise, like body part wise)

Idk if I went into it completely blind but this was much more sad than I expected! I loved it and have already recommended it to people so this is not a down side but just look up some content warnings if you're not mentally well right now

The twist isn't that exciting, the characters aren't that likeable, it wasnt scary, exciting or "thrilling" Honestly it was really flat and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

It's needed

I saw a lot of reviews saying that the gore was unnecessary and compared this to "torture porn" I think those people miss the point of the story. It's a dark story that covers a lot of dark topics. Even though I saw the ending coming from half a book away it was still upsetting and disturbing to listen to. Its a book that Im glad I listened to but it would be super heavy to pick up again

It's good for how short it is and may just be the start of realizing you're burnt out but it doesn't have a huge amount of content. I would recommend it but wouldn't listen to it again

Not a love story

this is not a love story, it is not graphic, it's not at all what I thought it was. It's a great story and it's easy to see why it's a classic. I hated the main character but found him charming and interesting enough to listen non stop and as an adult who was once a groomed child I sympathized and cheered on the leading girl

I finished this book in a little over 24 hours, every moment I was awake and not interacting with other people I was listening. I feel like the writer gave credit where credit was due but did a very detailed and very serious analysis. I also think it's awesome that he's worked with other USA leaders. I am a young adult in my 20s and the first time I was able to vote was in the 2016 election. I thought this was a great introduction to understanding politics a little bit more and I look forward on listening to other books by the author about Leaders that I was too young to remember or understand. For the listen for Trump supports or anti Trump supporters

I love this book, read it in highschool and have loved it ever since. I had forgotten lots since then so it was worth the listen and the narration was wonderful, I wouldn't have picked anyone else for the main character
