Historia
Sancia Grado is a thief, and a damn good one. And her latest target, a heavily guarded warehouse on Tevanne’s docks, is nothing her unique abilities can’t handle. But unbeknownst to her, Sancia’s been sent to steal an artifact of unimaginable power, an object that could revolutionize the magical technology known as scriving. The Merchant Houses who control this magic - the art of using coded commands to imbue everyday objects with sentience - have already used it to transform Tevanne into a vast, remorseless capitalist machine.

Great story, superb narration.
Revisado: 07-11-20
From the first conflict to the last; each chapter had me either laughing, reeling, or hungry for more. Bringing the smallest character development full circle where in I was happy to had learned about these characters earlier in the book. Cain as the protagonist is a relatable and likable person with his admitted flaws and luck. With him at the forefront of the story it never feels like it drags on or that it is outside the realm of reality in the terms or warhammer. If you enjoyed Gaunt's Ghosts then you would enjoy Cain.
