Just awful, if you want to hear a woman ask the most idiotic questions for 10 episodes straight, then yes this is for you. One episode starts with the main character asking 6 questions that make no sense, then a lot more follow. I stuck through it hoping it would get better but it does not. As much as I wanted to stop I kept on hoping the payoff at the end would be worth it, trust me it's not. Do yourself a favor and skip this, I rarely review anymore but this has to be a public service announcement. Spoiler alert: it's future mole people, there you go I saved you hours you can use on something else.

Tiresome

Struggled. The lead just hyperventilate and pants/whines all the time. Tough to get through. Stuck till the end to get to the conclusion but it's not worth it. The effects and sound design were good though. Props to the technical aspect of this recording, hopefully a better story and cast will come along.

Don't waste your time

The performances were great but the story line was just gut wrenching awful. Stuck around just for the twists at the end but honestly it leaves you with a worse sour note to both unfavorable main characters that will make you regret spending the time. The only positive thing to say other than the narrators working with this awful material was that it's on AUDIBLE+ and I didn't waste a credit on this garbage, just my time.

I really really tried to like this book. I am not really sure what it was but it didn't grab me like other books have at the beginning. I stuck with it for a while, made it past 6 hours but could not finish it. Chris Graves is a good narrator so I don't think he was the issue. I just felt nothing for the characters or the world he was building. If you truly enjoy it then that's great but if you want something better and along the lines of this type of material you should check out The Shadow Master and The Technomancer Novels series. If you loved the 1st you will love the 2nd.

What could be better about the adventures of Marty Mann, Nellie Dixon, Tina and Chrissie you ask? Bring in Jesus, If you loved the first book in this series you will love the second one hands down. Much like the first book they get the notion of time travel done right. There are way too many other books where its all over the place or the continuity gets screwed or its impossible to follow. This series nails it with good follow through so you are never lost as to when and where you are while also explaining the jump and timeline differences. There is a lot of that here specially once Jesus gets in the picture. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Great tale

I really enjoyed this story. Neccabashar is just trying to move up in the underworld like anybody else and his intentions to influence a young bad girl from happy kingdom eventually blow up in his face. This was a great light hearted read. Hannibal Hills did a great job narrating. He really brought all the characters to life from the demon, his goblin servant, the knight and countless others. I will save this story to listen to with the whole family as we take a trip to the beach this summer. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great short story

This was a great short horror story. You got to listen to the rules and don't trust everybody. Loved it all and was surprised when the end came. I had forgotten that this was a short story. There were so many places that I could see the story go and different turns that it could take had it more time but for what the true intentions of a short story was I thought it was neatly well done.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I am glad I discover Michael Bussa's work and will continue to enjoy what ever else he comes up with in his mind.

This book is awesome as part of the Reemergence series. Fyelrath is just as powerful and awesome as her brothers. Cant wait to listen to more and see whats next.

This is what The Conjuring movies should be

As you see by the title of this review this is what The Conjuring movies should be like. What I mean is take the main characters from The Conjuring series, turn them into selfish pricks that they recent and ignore their son so much that after their death when he grows up he wants to destroy everything his parents have collected over the years and take as many people down as he can with him. All his curse items have a story and man oh man do they have a story to tell. All 3 books were fantastically written by Ron Ripley and narrated by Thom Bowers. Horror, action, mystery, suspense, slight humor, hunted dolls, teddy bears, rifles, books, mirrors and character emotions are all rolled up into one very special collection, even after the end of each book there is a bonus scene of a character or curse item that you get a lot more of the story. A credit alone for each book is worth it but to have 3 in 1 it's fantastic. Do yourself a favor and use 3 credits to get the whole collection. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Be that as it is I will use my personal credits to complete this collection. It is by far one of the best horror story collections I have in my library and that is saying something. I cannot wait to listen to the rest.

You must disbelief reason and common sense

I did not know what to expect when I first started listening to this. David S. Dear does an okay job narrating and it may take you some time to get used to his different voices. He does a good job with them don't get me wrong the man is talented but maybe it's too much. Everyone in this story is your typical horror movie cliche from the goth girl, jock, junkie, gay, black man, fat Georgia racist man and even a private eye. Every single one of those characters sounds like a cartoon version of themselves. You must disbelief reason, common sense intelligence and you may just find an interesting story here. I pretty much had to force my way at the beginning to enjoy it but once I got past that I liked the different creative ways the people died. The story is not bad and it kept me entertained once I got past the voices. This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. Thank you
