Extremely tall and boring book… Both in contact and performance. If at all possible I wish to return this book for a credit.
Revisado: 08-24-22
I’m never sure that the subject matter got off the ground… Everything seem to be a repeat none of it particularly interesting… We’re terribly secretive so nobody knows what we’re doing including the writer. I wish to request a credit for return of this book.

Historia
There's nothing like a good deli, and the Red River Deli in Trenton is one of the best. World-famous for its pastrami, cole slaw, and for its disappearing managers. Over the last month, three have vanished from the face of the earth, and the only clue in each case is one shoe that's been left behind. The police are baffled. Lula is convinced that it's a case of alien abduction. Whatever it is, they'd better figure out what's going on before they lose their new manager, Ms. Stephanie Plum.

What happened between books 24 and 25?
Revisado: 11-20-18
So disappointed with this book. No gut wrenching laughs at Lula or Grandma M, just sexual innuendos that were completely unnecessary. Still trying to work out the plot...please bring back the cast of characters that we love...

Historia
After an overseas mission goes wrong, Army Special Forces officer Jacob Kincaid knows where he must go to make things right: back home to the tiny town of Cedar Ridge, Colorado. All he needs to scrub away his painful past is fresh mountain air, a lakeside cabin, and quiet solitude. But what he discovers is a gorgeous woman living on a boat at his dock.

Would you try another book from Jill Shalvis and/or Karen White?
There was a 'bit' of story line that held the sex scenes together. Have enjoyed other Jill Shelvis books but not this one. Didn't even finish it...got tired of stopping what I was doing to fast forward through the sex scene.
Would you ever listen to anything by Jill Shalvis again?
Not intentionally

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
After 3 attempts to listen I am finally going to return this book. Great listen if you can't fall asleep.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Stuart Woods
What didn’t you like about Joyce Bean’s performance?
She didn't have good material to work with.
Any additional comments?
This doesn't happen often with this author so I will buy others.

Grama's are widsom

What did you love best about An O' Brien Family Christmas?
The various stories with the main story kept the book moving. Sappy gave way to confrontational and each family member was involved. Wished for more distinctive character voices...but in a family many sound alike. Christmas for me is always a good theme. The results of finding lost love is a good cliff hanger.
