Stick with it!! IT IS WORTH IT!

So I listened to the reviews that recommended sticking with the book past the first few chapters. IT WAS WORTH IT!! Yes, the narrator is very robotic the first few chapters, but once you get passed that, the narrator starts to get into it and I assure you, the characters will all start to come alive!! You will love this series!!
I fell in love with these characters!! I laughed, I cried, I got anxious about what was coming next! This is an amazing series and you will love the story. Steamy sexy parts with a REAL STORY. The world Ms. Ladew has created is fun and full of twists and turns. Stick with it and don’t miss the opportunity to experience this series.
As for the narrator, he actually becomes amazing with different voices and accents! Two thumbs up!

Once you get over the narrator…

Ok so I generally like this narrator but not for dual male and female roles. His female voices are atrocious. That being said, once you get past that, I enjoyed the actual story. I loved the lead male, Noah. It was exciting to watch him grow as a character. I think this last book was really unnecessary and could have been included in book 2 easily enough. That being said, I even teared up during the epilogue, so I was definitely emotionally invested.
Overall, good story, terrible narrator.

Terrible Editing

As mentioned by others, the editing on this particular book is terrible. If you get to the end of the audiobook, don’t close out!! The book continued back at Chapter 10 to the end. It was all just very odd.
As for the story, I’m currently on a Carly Phillips binge at the moment. I’ve read all her Dare Family books along with all the other accompanying Family series as well. These books and stories are light and easy reads. I actually like this particular book. Some of three family stories repeat and the characters are so similar that they tend to blend together. Sisters with 3 brothers, she’s an interior designer, rockstar brother, the loss of a twin, terrible non-existent fathers, older brothers taking over the family… you’d think I was only talking about one family’s story, but oddly enough, I’m not. However this particular story is was a nice change and I enjoyed it. I’m definitely interested in reading the rest I’d the series, probably for my own obsession with finishing a series than for the need to find out what happens to the characters. These are supposed to be lighthearted and sexy stories, and they definitely reach those goals!

Story was Good, Narration was Bad

Just like everyone else has said, the story was just ok. I don’t mind the erotic parts, but there wasn’t much focus on the wolf part. However, overall if I read the story in print I would have probably enjoyed it. The narration on the other had was terrible!! Usually a female playing both parts does better than this. She sounded like a monotone pre-pubescent boy. It was difficult to determine exactly who was speaking during character changes. I may have even fallen asleep a couple of times.
I have a rule that I ALWAYS read at least the first two books of the series because the for some reason sometimes the first book isn’t all that great but the rest of the series can turn incredible. So here’s hoping that book 2 narration gets better!!
