it's good but have more confidence. plus New York was way more cosmopolitan than Los Angeles at that time. Los Angeles had Hollywood but it was not that big. New York was Gotham. also, those shows weren't on Cable tv. cable didn't exist back then really. z channel was the first cable channel that I know of. I could be wrong but those shows are on regular TV as we called it back then. you didn't need a cable. just an antenna. and I think I heard something about 1987. where Andy was shot in 1965 if I'm not mistaken? and then he moved into the new factory which was much less open house. anyway it's a good job. have more confidence. I don't know maybe you're just warming up and it's just normal banter. it would be nice if it was edited out. as I find myself fast forwarding through it because I'm not really in on that conversation. I just want to hear the podcast. but it's all good. this is great. you guys keep it up. I haven't really heard anybody cover this subject matter in a podcast so it's really cool to hear.

Historia
This week, in Springfield, Tennessee, a very calm 911 call, in the middle of the night, reveals a man who claims to have killed his wife, and put her in a freezer... only to have her "come back to life", causing him to flee. What detectives discover is a horrible scene, and a VERY dead woman. What happened? Will they catch this man?? It's an absolutley wild story!!Along the way, we find out that this town is a mecca for country music video filming, that it's extremely weird to give a 911 dispatcher a totally calm recounting of a murder, and that if you shoot someone, partially dismember, and ...

Do What You Want's principal storytellers are the four voices that define Bad Religion: Greg Graffin, a Wisconsin kid who sang in the choir and became an LA punk rock icon while he was still a teenager; Brett Gurewitz, a high school dropout who founded the independent punk label Epitaph Records and went on to become a record mogul; Jay Bentley, a surfer and skater who gained recognition as much for his bass skills as for his antics on and off the stage.

you can hear the entire story in 10 minutes or you can sit through this. No good stories about shows and people they met along the way. just a bunch of blah, blah, blah... this guy did some drugs but no dope stories. Got clean... Went to college and majored in rocks and fossils... it's not a horrible book but it's not a good book. Nothing like the Nofx or Keith Morris books. I take it these were some rich kids that became rich musicians

Historia
It was August 5, 2009, a day like any other for Dalia Dippolito. She got up early to go to the gym and let her husband, Mike, know that she'd pick him up a Starbucks on her way home. While she was at the gym working on her fitness, she got a call from Sgt. Ranzie, a detective with the Boynton Beach Police Department, who told her there was a situation at her home and she needed to get there right away. When Dalia arrived, she saw her house surrounded by police cars and yellow crime scene tape. Sgt. Ranzie told her that her husband had been murdered inside their condo, and Dalia fell into his ...

Roger Reaves grew up a poor farm boy in Georgia and went from making 'moonshine' to becoming one of the most prolific smugglers of the 20th century. He covered six continents, transporting 20 ton ship loads of hash, tons of cocaine, and completed more than 100 sorties across the US border with plane loads of marijuana. His friends and associates spanned the globe - from Medellin Cartel kingpins Jorge Ochoa and Pablo Escobar, to "Mr. Nice" Howard Marks and the infamous Barry Seal who was Roger's close friend and employee.

I don't buy it
Revisado: 04-24-23
guy can be a great fiction writer, but his Wikipedia makes no mention of his alleged children, Ford, Dodge, and Chevrolet. Plus, every story of him flying includes near death crashes and other nonsense anyone who has ever flown an aircraft will shake their heads at, along with his big fish stories and multiple stories of getting shot and hiking through the Monte in South America, etc, etc, etc. if any of the stories in this book are true, then he is wearing a superman cape under his Tommy Bahama shirts and he doesn't care enough for the children he mentions to include them in his Wikipedia. I call bull$hit big time on this book. it's entertaining but the constant stories of crashing planes in the jungle and miraculously making them fly again get old after the 30th tale of what sounds like total nonsense. I mean having a nurse throttle a 172 and beginning the roll (60mph) as this guy keeps up fast enough to jump in at the last minute. if he can run 10 mph, I'm blown away but 30 to 60mph makes him beyond human! returned this nonsense after listening for 10 hours and I only got that far because I was sick at work

Super 8 and 8mm did not come on tapes
Revisado: 01-29-23
They came on reels :^) Just showing my age. My family had a friend in the Bonnano family. Met after Massino flipped, and they picked a place on the map very far from any mob areas of the US. We are from NY also. My parents are both from Brooklyn. They were really cool, and life was good till the FBI came knocking. Luckily, our friend got out after 7 years. But there is no retirement, and after the money dries up, it really sucks
