Great follow-up book to the 1st. I actually enjoyed this story more than the 1st. It does delve into some sensitive areas concerning children but doesn't go into graphic details. Narration was great!

It was a decent story but I had a very hard time staying connected to the story. it just seemed to drag on and I found my mind wandering. Not my face but will probably try another in the series and see if it grabs my attention better.

One of the best books I've read/listened to in a very long time. I probably read 10-12 books a month and this is in the top 10 books over the last few years. The story takes off right away and switches between present and past tense with ease. The story is engaging. You are drawn in by the main character as you're taken on a journey thru this very traumatic subject matter. Every aspect of this book meant something. No wasted winding chapters to fill space. It all intricately wove together a story of heartache, abuse, love, healing, hope, and brokenness. Loved it. Finished it in 24 hours. I'm very picky on narration and have returned more than one book, not because the story was bad, but because I just couldn't listen thru the narrator. NOT the case here. The narration was perfect! Every character, every emotion (and there were so many in this book) was perfect and helped draw you into the story even more. I will definitely read this one again. One of the best credits I've ever spent!

Very long book but I didnt feel bored once and felt everything in it added value, not just fluff. Although I did find the later portion a bit unrealistic it still made for a very entertaining read. I connected with the characters and felt like you went through the journey with them. The narration was excellent and definitely added to the book. Overall very good listen and very happy with my purchase.

Well Worth My Credit!

Really enjoyed this book. Got it on a BOGO deal and would have been happy to pay full price for this. Narration was great (and that can definitely make or break a book for me). All the characters lives intertwined quite well. I tend to figure books out very quickly and this one did a great job of throwing me off. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
